I can't seem to get showinfo=0 working for videos embedded on Google sites.

I am trying to get rid of the title as it is interfering with important information on the video.

Yeah I think the problem is that Google Sites remakes the HTML code.

When a parameter is changed for example the width of the player is increased, Google sites will re-write the code and change the width back to its default setting, thus not allowing me to resize an embedded video (or change any other parameter)

I believe they created the feature on Google Sites before the release of the API, So although it was initially intentional for ease of use, it has developed into a problem.

Give us the details on the new "Watch this video in higher quality". It would be nice to get some absolute specs on this. We upload a xvid video yet YouTube re-encodes it anyways. It would really be helpful to millions of people if you went over video specifications in complete detail. Like an advanced manual.

After VideoEgg has shut down its video hosting service, I think Youtube may become the #1 video hosting provider for third party sites. At first glance the API's redesign sounds great, but my question is: "could I use my own player on my sites for videos hosted on Youtube?" The Youtube user will view the Youtube player but my sites user will use my player. Please guys work on this.

The seeking feature is cool, but how about adding an option to set the starting point for playback of an embedded video? imho, this parameter is as basic as "rel" or "loop", and should be available via the usual command line.
