Marilyn Manson is industrial metal, people. He is not emo, as he began dressing punk in the 80s, before the emo stereotype even existed. I will say, I love depeche mode's original of this music, but I think MM does a good job on it as well. He adds a little more rock and creepiness to it in a fairly subtle manner.

@fromtoronto2guelph I like the guitar parts and the drums, when it started I thought, "wow, this is going to be good", but then he started singing and it got worse from there. He covered it in his usual kind of choked-up/whisper tone, which is okay for when he is doing his own stuff, but it didn't really do the song justice. Lots of his stuff sounds like DM, but HE doesn't sound like Dave Gahan. I'm not being a crybaby, I'm just saying that he should know when to leave well enough alone.
