  • @ummsalama23 No he said raise the finger all the way until the end of the salah. Its about moving or not moving it. The sheikh has the opinion of NOT moving it at all you just raise it instead.

  • i keep my finger up from start to tasleem, without moving it even when i mention the name of Allah Ta Alla and/or when i make dua. it just stays up not down. and i hear there is much iktilaf in this. but i have not pictured fawzans opinion in my mind, how does it go? keep finger up from start when Allah's name is mentioned u move it up, and when making dua u move it until dua is finsihed? is this wat he was saying? can sumone respond

  • @StickyCurry Yes you're doing exactly what sheikh Fawzan has advised us to do;keeping the index finger up until the end of the Salah.Sheikh Fawzan has the opinion of NOT moving the finger.Whilst some people move it as sheikh Albani said. However there's an ikhtilaaf and the difference here is in the 'Understanding' not the meaning of the hadith. Many scholars from Saudi understood to NOT move the finger while Sheikh Albani (and others) understood to move it. It doesnt matter insh'Allah all is good

  • @manhajalsalaf Some scholars say move it all the way through, like Al-Albaani. Some say do not move it at all, like Shaykh Muqbil. And Shaykh Uthaymeen in Fataawa Arkaanul Islaam mentions places in at-tashahud in which you move it and when you dont, so in his position you move it for parts of it only.

  • Barakallahu feekh bro, i really do love the shaykh but yanee, this is the first time i am not agreeing with him - because al-abani uses hadith in his book and so i trust that opinion more, wa jazakamullahu hair for uploading bro, may allah reward you, ameen.

  • @Dawah2Islam Its ok as long as there's a daleel then you know what you're doing insh'Allah. Like I mentioned before, moving the finger or not its all done for the same purpose which is tawheed its not a major issue insh'Allah. May Allah reward you too wa feeka baraka Allah.

  • @Dawah2Islam I forgot to mention something which is important here and that is the fahm/understanding of ulama/scholars in this subject. Sheikh Albani rahimahu Allah understood it that one must move the finger while other scholars did not agree with him so the subject has a khilaaf/differences of opinion BUT we should not dwell into this too much as its a matter of understanding and the hadith is there for everyone to see.I agree with the scholars.baraka Allahu feekum

  • @manhajalsalaf na3am akhi agreed, wa feek barakallah

  • @Dawah2Islam the hadith is weak ! and there is a strong hadith were the prophet hold his finger stil. albani learned Islam from books not from sheikhs

  • @RevolutionMuslimX Not from sheikhs? And where do you suppose that the sheyoukh learned their deen from? Your comment is misplaced.

  • @manhajalsalaf I was talking about albani not about others. it is commonly known that albani learned Islam mostly from books and he never asks anyone.

  • @RevolutionMuslimX How can any sheikh not ask anyone? Sheikh al-Albani rahimahu Allah learned from his father who was also a muhaddith.

  • asalamulikum what was he saying because i dont understand arabic

  • @o00oilallaho00o Walaikom assalam. Please click on the 'cc' below the video the red square and choose 'English'. Jazaka Allah khair

  • @manhajalsalaf Thanks i saw your comment earlier but forgot to reply jazakallah khair

  • @alithelin1234

Sheikh can make a mistake. We should check whether the hadith about the harka/movement of index finger is saheeh or not.

  • Is this way really more authentic? I keep my finger up and move it cause I read it in shaykh albanis book

  • @alithelin1234 Many ulama' differ in opinions but they agree, in this particular point, that whether you move it or not all of us are doing it for tawheed. Another thing is when a scholar make ijtihad and when he's correct he receives two rewards and when making a mistake he recieves one. Sheikh al-Fawzan said 'Allahu a'lam' in this clip too and I think that is a great thing to say mash'Allah. Jazaka Allah khair for watching dont forget to subscribe!

  • @manhajalsalaf jazakallah khair for answering

  • Baraka Allahu fiek aghie

  • Does someone have a translation of it? Jazzaka Allahu Ghair

  • @rachidcuba If you mean translation of this particular clip, then yes I've already done that if you cannot see the subtitles please click on the 'cc' below the video and you'll be able to see the English sub. But if you mean translation of the entire 'fatawa' aired on Saudi channel then no, it has not yet been translated. But, I'm translating relevant clips of what was said on the fatawa live insh'Allah. Jazaka Allah khair for watching.
