Some of these comments are so damn SAD...yes pubs are great, I have seen Mellencamp live and he was fantastic...so by the way was Andre Rieu, Pavarotti and the rolling stones, Springsteen and Meatloaf.... and SO is this....I enjoy it all....to all the negative authors...switch to something else to listen to...it is that simple...why write negativity, there is enough of that in this world already.

The sad part of this is that the DC5 were denied induction (allegedly the DC5 got more votes than Grandmaster Flash but Jann Wenner overrlued the committee) the year before when the original DC 5 vocalist (Mike Smith, IIRC) was still alive.

He did though. Kenny Aronoff used to drum for Mellencamp. He is now Fogertys drummer.

Correct. But he didn't "steal" him. Kenny has played drums for Melissa Etheridge, Smashing Pumpkins before he played with JF. He's a helluva drummer...one of the best. But I don't think Fogerty exactly stole him.

There must not be any hard feelings. Mellencamp has him listed in his top friends on myspace.
