DURAMAX is a japanese designed engine, injectors are denso, alot of the other parts are isuzu. Duramax is a japanese engine, period. Even the salesmen at Fivestar chevrolet here in warner robins say the same thing. Replaced the shitty injectors in our 03 GMC at a whopping 3800 dollars and the box said Denso on it not chevrolet. Denso is a japanese owned company. Duramax engines may be majority owned by Gubment motors, but still the design is japanese.

Tundra's are not all that good of a truck. I was test driving a 2010 tundra and it spun a rod bearing and the piston started nockin real bad. The salesmans face turned red when I looked at him. I will not look at another one.

DURAMAX is a japanese designed engine, injectors are denso, alot of the other parts are isuzu. Duramax is a japanese engine, period. Even the salesmen at Fivestar chevrolet here in warner robins say the same thing. Replaced the shitty injectors in our 03 GMC at a whopping 3800 dollars and the box said Denso on it not chevrolet. Denso is a japanese owned company. Duramax engines may be majority owned by Gubment motors, but still the design is japanese.

no, the tundra is a Japanese owned truck, but according to their press release the 2nd generation tundra was designed by toyota of north america, wether the engineers are japanese or american, the R&D money stayed right here, the plant that builds them is right here in texas, the steel comes from Gary indiana, majority of the electronics come from vendors here in the states(to save tarrifs from imports) . No I completely believe you and I know about it very well, However, nowhere near as many people died and it too them 4 years to fix the entire issue, and reimburse their customers. Toyota however still doesn't have the problem controlled and continues to COVER UP the real problem after nearly 8 years, along with no reimbursment to it's customers. My aunt has to pay for a rental car out of her own pocket while the fuck around with her camry. Now mr. actually, tell me which sounds worse :)

I see a ton of Tundras on the roads, 1st and 2nd generation. Thats pretty good since there is only 1 plant producing them. Totota will pull our of this recall business with flying colors. Look at the sales of trucks for the last few years. Ford (#1) easily beats Dodge (#2) and toyota cant even match dodge. Tundras dent in american sales of trucks is the equivalent of a bb gunshot dent in the tailgate. Ya its there but nothing to worry about. Most people wont even notice it.

nope, got mine fixed on friday so i wont have to worry about that, and guess what, I still have great trade in and resale value on mine. Got offered more than what I owe to trade it in, which never happened while i owned a silverado or a ram. Tell me, whats the point of having all that power in a truck that weighs between 8-10thousand lbs.
