  • Why is it that the 'Ocean Future Society' video says that the tugboat 'Saint Denis' collided with the well head, yet all the other reports say it was the 'Pere Ana C' that collided with the well head. So why does the supposed facts of this incident NOT match? I do wonder if the Ocean Future Society is pushing environmental propaganda with this video now...

  • I mean look at them and there save the oceans and their future with their environmental donation button... Aren't they special...

  • @2222554 No, our report says that the collision occurred near Bayou Saint Denis. We did not list which ship was involved.

  • @OceanFuturesSociety But various agencies did. So which one is the accurate version? I appreciate your reply...

  • @2222554 I did a quick Google search on Pere Ana C and there is a NOAA incident report that lists this vessel as the one that collided with the well head.

  • This well was an abandoned oil well, why would anyone abandoned a well that produces oil, its shooting 100 feet into the air.? I think the oil is coming from the Macondo Capped well; they are holding back the oil and the pressure is pushing the oil everywhere else.

  • Thanks for posting the footage. Hideous !!!

  • This is an attack on the american people, if not, they better name an adversary ricky tick, cuz the people are going to consider this a first shot real soon. There is no earthly reason why any company would let this happen after the bp issue, unless it is intentional. Unless and I stress Unless this is and earthly cataclysmic event we are not being told about. Call me an alarmist all you want, but reasonable, critically thinking people, can't and wont dismiss this shit for much longer. Be warned

  • I just read this was a Coast Guard tow boat that hit the thing. WTF. --- A Coast Guard towing vessel collided Tuesday with an oil and natural gas platform off the coast of Louisiana, sparking a minor oil spill in a region that is already dealing with the BP oil disaster.-RSOE Emergency and Disaster Information Service

  • Another note:

A news report says that the boat that hit the well was way out of the allowed shipping channels. There will be an investigation by the Coast Guard.

  • 2ND OIL SPILL PREDICTED ON THE VERY DAY!

  • where'd the tugboat go? underwater? lol

  • Maybe a sobatage ! = 2010 , the year of oil spill`s , oil leak`s and maybe the beginning for new alternative / eco friendly energy sources .

  • So Fu.cking mother fucking Idiots DIE all Bastards.

  • what friggin next??

  • A local Louisiana news report states that there are thousands of these abandoned wells in the gulf-- with-- and without-- lights on them. The owner of this well went out of business and has not yet been found.

It would be a beginning of sanity for every well in the gulf (in all the seas and even on land) to be inspected and cleaned up. There is a land-based oil industry clean up organization that does just this (if you find an old oil well, they will clean it up-- at their own expense).

  • Can they be any more blatant than this! Out to kill the residence and not even attempting to hide it. Just spewing it all out in open public.

  • OH FOR FUCKS SAKE MAN!!!! Blunder BUFFOONS

  • I cannot describe how angry this makes me.
