Oh man.. I remember this. 44th Mechanized. I was in the Humvee in the center of the convoy. It was chaos. Massive explosion, followed by the trucks in front of my getting launched overhead, then gunshots all around us. If my friend hadn't sacrificed his life, me and my squad wouldn't be here today.

What did you do there in the first place?I don't like seeing anybody killed but the minimum of my empathy goes to soldiers of a invading army. Thousands of miles from home for a shitty paycheck, and silly lies sold to you, like weapons of mass destruction and such bullshit. Hope you didn't believe in those stories otherwise you are a sad man now. The only reason USA and GB went there was theft of another nation oil. @andrejm77 I went to serve for my country. My father fought in Vietnam, and my two grandfathers in the first and second World War.
I want to make my father proud. I didn't go to invade for fun, or to steal oil, which is the main reason all of this is happening. The day of 9/11, I immediately wanted to join the military and protect our country from terrorists, and or any posing threat to the United States of America, and our allies.

i was very lucky... the explosion made me fly 500 meters away from the area... and i landed on a pool... had some scratches but im fine.

the humvee was still far when it explode, no death, just slight injuries. the humvees are up-armored, atleast it was 10meters when it exploded, just civilians on the left side of the trucks was killed, poor civies, fucking terrorist!
