  • I see. My saw is going to be the do all saw in the garage, as soon as I get the fence from Arthur Fuege. I've got a loaner motor on it right now. I've been looking for an old GE or a Howell to run the saw, you wouldn't happen to have any spares, would you?

  • Mine runs about 2450 so I can put the 20" on when needed. Have you ran any 12" blades on it? I'm a little concerned with the rim speed on my dado set mostly in plywood and laminates.

  • @morpheusduvall I've only run the two blades that are on it so far. I have two other table saws set up currently and one I leave a 12" solid (not stack or wobble) dado head on. I also use the pin router for a lot of my dados and rabbets. I almost never use plywood or laminates. I work almost exclusively with hardwoods.

  • I like the linkage for drawing the sliding table out, my Oliver requires you pull it out by hand. Whats the arbor speed, about 2900?

  • @morpheusduvall I did the calculations once. I think its somewhere around 2600. The motor is a 1200 rpm and the pulley is roughly twice that of the arbors.

  • How is it that one of those blades is as shinny as a mirror?

  • @73SDR The shiny blade is basically new. It's a Freud ripper that hasn't seen any miles. The other blade, the cross cut, is an older one with a triple chip grind.
