they are branded, the third is made by "super knife" manufacturing. And Super Knife made the scorpion butterfly before M tech made it. Because i got the red scorpion butterfly knife and it came new and sealed from a box that said, " Super Knife, best quality, stainless steel,". And im impressed with the sharpness and quality of these Super Knife ones. And also where did u buy your scorpion m-tech butterfly?

When I refer to the better Butterfly knives I am talking about knives that will survive not only hard use, but regular daily use, and maintain a keen edge due to the use of a quality cutlery steel. These have mediocre construction, mediocre steel, and generally are not meant to be used regularly.

@TheJamesbrother Pretty sure it's a Regal Flipper. You can get those at BladePlay(dot)com, although they don't have the -exact- same knive. If you look in their $16.00 through $25.99 category, you'll find some very similar knives though, but they only have wood on one side of the handles.

I recently picked up a VERY cheap butterfly knife (around $8) and am now getting into the flipping and what not, however the handles on mine are very loose and really its just a shit knife... Is there any knife you would recommend that's anywhere from $50-80? I know very little about them so I don't care what it looks like, I just want a sturdy one that I can flip around (not a trainer) any help is greatly appreciated! :)

The only way it will close on you is if you snap the tang pin, which is highly unlikely. Second, there are many well made balisongs out there, for example the benchmade 42.
