People on these comments talk about the price of the product, well honestly man its all about preference. Yeah you could drive a beamer or a benz, but you can still get around in a honda or a toyota.
I have been upgrading my studio gear lately. I will be purchasing a neko ex5 this weekend and purchasing the open labs OS upgrade to run windows 7 home 64 bit. Currently, I run pro tools 9 and bias 7xt in my home studio on 2 apple computers. I have a lot of plugins, but I decided to add a little pc flavor. I know I could have did a dual boot on my Macs, but I like the all in one keyboard solution of the neko. I am a keyboard player, singer, and gospel composer and I like good tools.
I hate when cats brag about there gear.Iv'e got Reason 5 and Record 1.5. but it dosent matter.I can use Garageband and make better traks than alot of ya'll
u sound good but i can use my fantom g and produce the same kind of music.what open lab has done is combine a soft synth, controller and keyboard all in one package very cool.but if u are good at what u do u can produce music on any thing and if u are not good neko ,fantom, motif.mpc will not make u sound any better,it is all about your skills
The Neko looks Cool...But i wudnt buy it..if i had the money to blow it wud..but if you can make you music sound the same and just as good with some free stuff then thats all that matters..
yo producers out there i need some help, i recently got myself a toshiba laptop and,
when i use my krk rp6 studio monitors i can hear a crackling noise when i play audio, also, my akai mpk shows as 'unspecified', i need to know how to correct these problems so a reply would be amazing, thanks.
mah nigga that hi-hat got to go. or take it in or out of the track as it progresses. i think you should of let the begining come in more smoothly. instead of going to that hi-hat that fast into the song. keep doin yo thang
Man cats be paying all this damn money for gear to do some Hip-hop. I can do all them beatz with a $599 MPC or NI Maschine. The beat was tight though.
whats good man i'm using logic right now and i just sold my fantom x6 i'm thinking about gettin the neko... what would u suggest stay with logic or upgrade to neko? and the sounds u used in this video are those all stock?
Logic is the best daw on the market in my opinon. I think you should stick wit it and just get a lot of vst's. All the sounds i used on this beat are from vst's you can buy and use with logic
I'M a avid logic user and love working with it, I study on Pro-Tools but still love my Logic, maybe cuz when I was study the pro-tools platform I would go home and apply half of what learned on Pro-tools to Logic. When I'm working on a film Pro-Tools is the way to go. You can still do it on Logic but Pro-Tools is really made for the film industry, later on it became the music industry standard. Hell Yah Love M Logic!!!
i could of done that with just my computer keyboard LOL #swagswagswagswag

It's not meko, it's neko, and that there runs 6 to 7 g's, thus proving it's the producer not the equipment.
