i like this suv but for a few grand less im sure i could get a fully completely loaded armada for less then the base model of this suv. i would also have to look into the navigator or escalade too.

I love the looks and I love the luxury, but it sorta seems like a dressed up Armada with a smoother ride and a jacked up price. Might be my next car. I like the Navigator and the Escalade too though. And the Denali and the GL 450 aren't bad. Any sugestions?

i say qx56, in canada it only comes fully loaded and with freight and pdi its around 74,000, the escalade would be 108,000.

Imo american vehicals are made with cheaper parts that dont last as long as the imports, i donno. as for the armada the qx is allot more luxurios inside.

the armada is made in the us too its just a matter of how good the company wants to make it, which GM doesn't do a good job of.

same engine as the nissan titan, it runs on 87, i dont know if that sounds right or not!

My 2007 QX56 says PREMIUM FUEL RECOMMENDED. So I don't know if things changed for 2008...

It really is, 400 lb ft compared to 270, and I would hazard a guess that power curves on the 8 are much broader. A very good observation regardless.

we review everything that comes into our offices if it hasn't been videoed before. As I've explained before we're not an entertainment site. We're not trying to get just the latest and greatest cars for display on YouTube. We're reviewing as many as we can, and that includes models that aren't significantly redesigned. People still shop for these types of vehicles, so we review them too.
