  • If you can avoid using paint-stripper, do so. The chemical is catastrophic for the environment.

  • too bad there is no verbal instructions....

  • What about removing lead paint? Would I need to take extra safety measures to not spread lead around my home?

  • @JackANDJude DO IT OUTSIDE IF IT'S LEAD PAINT! AND WEAR A MASK!

  • @anushca100 You can't DO IT OUTSIDE if you're stripping the interior!

  • @wildflower428 Well he didn't mention what he was stripping. If it's the interior walls, good luck with chemo.

  • Excellent device- I could of used that machine on a floor that was painted with about 5 coats of paint and the floor sander would just gum up. Next time I will not hesitate to purchase this machine.

  • ooooooooo :D

  • What's better to use on a metal? (On my bike, it's aluminum, the paint's worn so I wanna repaint it.)

Should I use a paint stripper or a heat gun?

  • @FXC316 paint stripper would be easier

  • @kinkbmx13 Not really ....unless you want cancer causing chemicals in your system.

  • hey

  • Wow, what a great tool. I've stripped paints with heat guns in the past and this looks like a cake walk compared to that tedious process. I think saying "No chemicals" is misleading for those who don't realize that the heated paint itself lets off harmful fumes and what not, but otherwise this looks fantastic.
