Its clear that Nadal wasnt so good on hardcourt in 2009 , look how far he stands behind the baseline. I wonder how he won Austrailian Open though...

yeah djokovic is better in hardcourts than nadal but if they play the us open final I will put all my money on nadal, because into finals nadal is a beast

Nadal currently has alot of problems with players that hit flat, powerful strokes.

Djokovic has clearly proven that he is a better hard court player than nadal. he hits the ball flatter, which allows his shots to penetrate thru the court, and hes able to overpower nadal. not to mention that nadal has definitely not returned to full strength yet. it will be interesting to see how he performs at the US Open.

before this matcha Djokovic had a 4-14 head to head with the champion Nadal; this match made it a little better for him. In the last consecutice matches Nadal has won 5/6 against Novak! Obviously Novak played excellent tennis here; but we still have to wait for Nadal to get his tennis level right; he has only palyed 7 matches so far -clearly not enaugh but we only hope he will get better for the USO!! Good return from Nadal though!!!
