After converting that tough split I would have thought the title would be his but then he hands it to Voss.

That was a nice conversion of the 2-4-10 that Thayer converted in the tenth.

On the fill ball that thayer threw where he left the 3-6-10, it was a bit slow and he probably would have been better off throwing it much faster and straighter. I felt bad that he did not end it right there.

I can guarantee you that if Thayer threw it straight down the center he would've most likely gotten 8. I cannot believe he never won a PBA title even though he qualified 1st so many times.

It is too bad he was a great talent and fun to watch in person. Incredible game. Some guys just don't get it done, whether nerves or bad luck, it just doesn't happen. I feel I'm one of them although not on this level I have a plethora of 2nd place finishes in tournaments.

When by any chance are you going to post the AC Delco Tournament where Thayer has yet another 2nd place finish. I heard that he finished 2nd in this tournament, who he he lose to?
