One of the most beautiful song sung by Madam Noor Jehan, from the period when Lollywood was light years ahead of its time. Half a century has passed but the magic of the masterpiece song is as great as ever. Enchanting music, beautiful poetry and sung by the greatest ever singer of this land Madam Noor Jehan........ Lahori Munda From New York.
In old days people used to sleep on roof tops in Lahore summer times. This is one of the songs which hold their imagination and made them sleep in a motherly manner. The feeble sound from distant transistor radio accompanied with occasional swings of breeze familiarize people with the radio program Apki Farmysh.
You've mentioned almost the same thing, only difference is that people in Karachi used to sleep in their 'sehan' rather than roof tops. Those were the days. Deebo was a seasoned, born music director. Unfortunately very little work has been produced by Deebo and Hasan Latif (Susral fame).
(Inam Bahi i thought songs of this film was written by "Masroor Anwar" i can't imagine you being wrong i'm sure i have mistaken. Many thanks for your hard work)

A minor correction in your description Nadeem..
It's going to be Madam's 9th death anniversary not 7th.
