I think Wild Tiger Woman was not commercial enough. The B- side Omnibus would have been more suitable to the major audience who decide which song makes charts and which not.
Thanks for this, never saw anything on this lost piece. Carl Wayne; such a great talent, anyone notice how Trevor Burton looks like the guy from 70s show.
One of my favorite songs by the Move!

The Move made only two singles which
not charted. This one and When Alice Comes back to the Farm. Though they
were good songs too.

Reminds me of an Idle Race song. Wonder which one came first?

It is said that song is Days of the Broken
Arrows. And some guitar- riffs are very
much alike. This came about summer 1968 and Idle Race song in spring 1969.
Wood and Lynne spent much time together
already those days though they were
in several groups until Lynne joined
The Move early 1970.

I understand this song went nowhere in the charts!
An example that the 60's music buyers were just as fickle as todays!.

No I don't accept that.
To my ears,it is no less commercial, but perhaps more reflective of the Zeitgeist than it's predecessor "Fire Brigade".
I loved and sang to myself all the hits when i discovered them aged 6.When I found this one, aged 15,it was like finding a long lost brother.
BTW,anyone who likes "Eagle" is fine by me!.
