@happyhippos4449grrl I used to buy mine from a dollar store by my house. But I think that you can buy them at any store that sells medical stuff (like band aids and such).
It can hurt if you pull tight enough, but you get used to it. But with an ace bangage it tends to look lumpy. The best shirts to wear are collared shirts with layers. Try wearing like a polo shirt with a button shirt over it. It create a square chest shape.
I'm 14 and I'm GQ. I binded with Ace bandages for awhile, and I agree, it's horrible...
I haven't come out to my parents, they totally wouldn't accept me, so I'm trying to sneak around with getting a binder... ^__^ So I can't order one in the mail... do they have stores like this in malls, or something? And also, should I start wearing it one hour a day and working my way up to all the way through the school day or something?
@RainingBloodOutside Well I actually don't know if there are any stores that would sell something like a binder, Any places I've went to (like malls and such) don't really have binder type things. You could always try making one, like getting track shorts and cutting them to make one, I've never tried that, but from what I've heard it works. I would suggest that you wear it for a couple of hours and when it starts to get uncomfortable take it off and just keep extending the time you wear it.
@Puzzlelion Well, In all honesty I have never actually use any sorta of 'bra' so I wouldn't know if that would ease you into it or not. I went from Ace Bandages directly to a Binder.
i have a question about how you figured out what size to get. did you actually measure your chest, or did you go for whatever small size you thought would fit? I want to get one, but i wanna make sure i get one that binds as much as possible, though i know its impossible for all of the size to go away magically. but yeah, if you can help me out it will be greatly appreciated!
Where do you get the ace bandages? I can only find the ones that come with first aid kids...and those are about 3 inches wide which doesn't work.

hey for someone who wants to ease into binding would you recommend a sports bra to begin with, or did you just get straight into it?

@MrDreamerCode Ah, you're a lucky one. They're hellishly uncomfortable, I'll tell you that. Thanks for the info all the same :-)
