  • Travis Granger from 4 Player Podcast brought me here!!!!!

  • Nobunaga quá tàn bạo, cái chết của hắn là do hắn tự chuốc lấy thôi

  • it doesn't matter if ur American, Japanese, Canadian, etc all from everywhere have the equal amount stupiduty or ignorance. however i realised that many Americans i meet seem to say that their country is the only one with people from all over the globe therefore they are special makes them look stupid yet confident. Canadian's im not sure but they probably hate to be mistaken for an American.

  • the tyrant

  • MY NAME IS NOBUNAGA, AND THIS IS MY QUEST! couldn't resist sorry..

  • I came here because of samurai warriors lol

  • Nobunaga is one of my top 5 favourite people in history, right next to Gerber, Paracelsus, Cao Cao, and Alexander Suvorov. However, no matter how awesome this video and the premise of it is, I just cant get passed 3:46. That scene is just too stupidly funny. There are other scenes like it, but that one tops the others.

  • Personally I think Nobunaga wasn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be. When he killed his brother it was either kill a family member or let his clan be split for who knows how long. Plus he was a man who wouldn't be stopped, he took over most of japan before Mitsuhide rebelled. I'm kinda new to the Sengoku Era history but so far Nobunaga is my favorite warlord.

  • @AmericanSamurai15 Most of his reputation comes from his later years when it is suspected that he was suffering from dimentia. That being said, he was never a true tyrant.

  • Portraying nobunaga as an "evil" person merely perpetuates a meaningless steryotype. All Nobunaga did was what Takeda, Uesugi, Mori and the rest had been doing for years; he just did it better than anyone else. It's ironic that people think of him as a maniacal despot with no compassion, because he would not have given mitsuhide an army while he was unarmed were he incapable of trust, and he would not have sent Hideyoshi off with the main force were he afraid to delegate.

  • @ekkio people just dont have the balls to do what he did to get the job done. he did kill monks and children and women somtimes but he had to, to get people out of his way. alot of weak people dont understand that. also if you dont kill children of places you conquer and women theres a good chance they might grow up or birth more people with vengeance towards you and so on. its brutal but its called thinking ahead of everyone. I have a Giant tatoo of the Oda clan Blossom on my back btw .

  • @WhiteTheTruth Actually it's ruling with fear, it usually turns against you (see Akechi Mitsuhide). the other wayis ruling with compassion, however, that usually ends with morals lost and a shift to ruling with fear (see Tokugawa Ieyasu and Toyatomi Hideyoshi)

  • 1:05 Is that Ranmaru Mori?

It looks like him from Samurai Warriors 2

  • Nobunaga did not hate Buddhism, he hated the militant Buddhism practiced by the Ikko Ikki of the Jodo Shinshu sect. Many of Japan's Buddhist sects are extreme right wing and have patrons in organized crime even today, as well as sharing the propaganda effort for Japan's WW2 Fascist Government. I think Nobunaga was ahead of his time.

  • これ、いつのどの局の番組でしょうか?

  • it seems like nobunaga remembering his cruelness, insulting his father altar, slaying all the priest when they rebelled (which outraged the takeda and uesugi), killing his own brother, using asai and asakura skull to drink sake....

    awesome drama

  • What is this? A documentary from Japan? Is there one with English subtitles? I would love to use this in a classroom. Oh man, Azuchi looks amazing. What's up with the golden skulls and disturbing sake drinking? This is fascinating. Though Nagashino was not as one sided as it appears here. This sort of depiction seems to occur a lot though; that the Oda musketeers essentially mowed down the Takeda samurai. It was a much more brutal struggle.

  • @AOI878IOA He never converted but he supported it to get rifles and whatnot.

  • they were playing Go at the beginning.. =)

  • Nobunaga was a great man, a genius, and a hero. He looked beyond himself and his small province of Owari to grasp the nation of Japan. If not for him Hideyoshi and Ieyasu would not have been able to accomplish true Japaese unification.

  • @rexrichardiii i agree with you on that

  • He was manic-depressive psychosis.

    This is a true story.

It is not a hero at least.

It is these days that he was reevaluated.

He is a man like Hitler and Caligula and Nero and Stalin.

    Are you still good?

  • sorry to say this but you need a history lesson. nobunaga may have been manic-depressive but he may not have been either he was however very complex. It is very easy and a cop-out to compare someone to Hitler but Nobunaga was not and can not be compared to those monsters you have sited. He was maybe an Aurelian or a Julius Caesar but he most assuredly was a hero.

  • @MaboroshiPan

    lol

  • What is the name of the song that starts at around 2:30?

  • @1337Ranson The music is Antonin Dvorak's New World Symphony, fourth movement. Other movements of the symphony appear in this video also.

  • Nobunaga was a odd daimyo, he hated buddism for most, and coveted western tech and christianity. I cannot believe he was assasinated.

  • actually Nobunaga did not in fact hate Buddhism common misconception. He hated the perversion that was being perpetrated by the Honganji and Mt. Hiei warrior monks. He did not in fact "embrace" Christianity he knew that through the church he could gain access to western tech and insight into the greater world.

  • i man full of dream of changing the world, its always encouraging.

    plus he's catholic~~

  • If Nobunaga had unified Japan, what would he do after words? Trade with europe, or create an empire?

  • I'd like to think both.

  • He already traded with Europe creating Empire in asia would be dificult just see what happen with Hideoshy dream to conquer Korea

  • hahahaha lucky for me i live in japan im half japanese i can understand japanese

  • interesting...so what are they saying?

  • cool i german and a i can speak japanese lets be friends pleas.

  • sure man i accept your invitation

  • yeah yeah, shut up, 100% Japanese are better

  • ChosonNinja said Nobunaga was a Christian

    ┐('~`;)┌

  • he was. thats how he could burn the temple and monks without any worry of karma

  • Why didn't they show the Oda victory against the Imagawa at Okehazama in 1560 or against the Azai/Asakura at Anegawa in 1570?

These events were just as important in Nobunaga's life.

  • yeah you're right!!

and also when he get shot!! he almost die!

    S.

  • what is that game they are playing?

  • IGO!!!!!

  • The game is called "Go." It's popular in the East much like chess is popular in the West.

  • Great job uploading this video. You have my respect. May I ask you a question? It regards those golden skulls. What is the story behind those? Please let me know. Thanks again.

    Peace.

  • It's Asai & Asakura clan's skulls. Oda allied with Asai. Oda Nobunaga's younger sister Oichi(known as most beautiful woman in Sengoku era) married Asai Nagamasa. Oda attacked Asakura, Asai & Asakura were traditionally sworn allies.

  • Asai decided to support Asakura finally. Both Asai & Asakura clan destroyed. Before seppuku, Nagamasa sent deeply loved Oichi & 3 daughters (including Yodo-Gimi, she married next ruler Toyotomi Hideyoshi later) for Oda.

  • Thank you fg815. I appreciate that very much. May I ask you another question? It involves why Nobunaga sliced the globe in half with his sword.

    Thanks again.

  • people talk about this as Nobunaga is cruel, its a very bad stumble of him as people know.but in ancient japan, golden the skull is a way of showing the respect to the dead.

anyways, i love Nobunaga, when i feel down i just read his story, very encouraging

  • they were killed at the battle of honnouji by Misuhide 's rebellion

Ranmaru died defending his lord Nobunaga

  • the one who is sitting in your right is Nobunaga and the one without hair i don't khow him (misuhide maybe) and the other sitting outside is Ranmaru (known with his extreme beauty)

  • what game were nobunaga and that other guy playing and do you know where I can find it

  • どこのテレビ局が作ったか知らんが

    三劫じゃないぞ。

  • Who's that monk guy supposed to be?

  • Honinbō Sansa, the 1st meijin in history.

  • I think I know how to play there board game

  • it's Wonderful thank you for uploading

  • I'm Hmong, and I got to say, ever since that movie 300 was made, we asians are now being humilated that our history sucks. WE ASIANS HAVE REAL GODS OF WARS and that is GUAN YU and KENSHIN UESUGI. Asian History is my favorite history because it's not boring.

Oh look, 300 people fighting 1000 people, oh so scary, NOT

asian history has over a billion people dead

  • 300 vs 1 million

Actually in the movie were like 100 extras vs others 200 extras.

  • actually Asian history is great. don't let those stupid hollywood movies change your ideas.

  • you are right asians history is the best!

  • do they even know 4 sure if he died that day

  • nobunaga is a great man and you showed him as a cruel man. i dont think thats fair

  • Japans are originally TURKIC people. You can easily understand that fact from japanese language. That's the fact and you gotta be proud of this fact.

  • god.. i wish i was japanese i mean being viets alright but japanese are awesome!

  • Nobunaga ias actually one of my favorite Japanese historical figures. He was quite the leader. Nobunaga accomplished many things in his lifetime.

  • the reason why he was known as the Demon king is because he didnt really do things in the traditional way, not like i think i know everything about japan but there are traditional ways to do things but nobunaga didnt do em in the traditional way thats why ppl called him the demon king

  • I'm not sure many people would like to be Nobunaga...he was killed by his own retainer Mitsuhide in 1582 when he was still taking over.

  • unless you want to make several changes such as different major decisions and perhaps the incident at honouji would never happen

  • japanese r actualy scary lookin in this vid.

  • damn ur s2pid its a long time ago, during 1500's. now, they dont kill themselvs bcuz west finaly influenced them. nd theyr not isolated, how abt mazda, honda, toyota. but i agree in some aspects that theyr a bit a maniac.

  • americans are still the worst bitch.

  • im not american if u think i am. nd i apologise if i offended sum people. damn right i agree that americans r the craziest.

  • lol sounds like someones jealous

  • what an idiot. u think that the americains u have met speak for our country as a whole. get the hell out of here

  • yes they do speak for your whole shit country. your childish response confirms that.

  • how pathetic you have let something u dont understand cloud your reason this conversation is over i dont need to waste my time on fools like you God Bless America

  • the fool is you and god has fucked up america

  • Hey how did this video let this conversation to America?

  • mailerin, you are entitled to your opinion and I can respect that. However, I am offended. I live in America, and I am a nice man. And I'm very intelligent. Your belief in Americans being stupid and mean is ignorant. There are good intelligent people in America. And yes, there are some mean people and trust me, I ran across quite a few of them. But then again, there are mean people all over the world. Yeah, I know. But that's reality.

  • @mailerin lol nice stereotype. noone is the same in any country assholes and non assholes. and no such thing as a countries customs. people act how they want

  • @mailerin haha Im american and I couldnt agree with you more. Most if not all americans are retarded honestly.

  • @Rand0m2006 No, you're not American or you wouldn't group people together like that. Its totally moronic. Every culture and country has their intelligent and stupid people. If you are American then you're of the latter.

  • @mailerin After having met scores of truckers from canada, it's obvious to Americans that those morons wouldn't even have a country if it were't for the U.S.A. Those idiots can't even read simple road directions or understand simple verbal instructions. I work in a shipping office that deals with many canadian companies. When we know a canadian driver is coming in we just go ahead and get out the pop-up books. That's why we may seem rude to canadians. We don't tollerate stupidity very well.

  • @mailerin

Canada is very pro Britain. I am not surprised. But it is not their fault that they were born in America.

  • @mailerin your not the only one who thinks that americans are all bark and no bite

  • @mailerin I'm an American, but I would just say that people in general would fall into that category…don't be racist

  • @mailerin that statement clearly shows you are wrong. to be naive enough to say that.

  • @mailerin Wow Thats Racist

  • @mailerin oh what tha fuck ever. just yesterday, i meet a Canadian,i was so excited to meet one of you guys, but nooo he was a fucking creep and ass hole. pleaaase.

  • You have not met everyone in the world. Being American, I can tell you first of all, I am not rude. Second of all, every single American person is a different human being, there for you cannot put the title of "American" and put every person of that nation in the category of rude, seeing as each American is different. I am American, I am a Chamorro Pacific islander from Guam, I'm Roman Catholic etc. My classmate is American, he's black and muslim. His values are different than mine. Get it?

  • @mailerin So you think every american is "stupid"? Take a look at your people then. You are not prosperous. We have much more people, land, and money. WE can destroy instantly. Come on now. We haven't lost a war yet. Do you really think your people are all that? Where are your people in history? That is right you are all really Europeans. Ha! Your people even move to america! Many of them do it!

  • @merderouslonewolf Obviously someone doesn't know our own history. First off we lost the War of 1812 and Vietnam. We lost pretty bad. Second, no we do not have more money, since Bush we've been in debt pretty damn bad. Third: The "We can destroy instantly" bull shit is only proving the stereotype that we're a violent nation. So shut your mouth before you make us look even worse.

  • @AmericanSamurai15

You need a history lesson as well. We won the War of 1812 and Vietnam was just a battle in the greater Cold War which we won.

  • @mailerin f*ck you!

  • @mailerin What does that have to do with Japan? (not to mention the rude tone of your statement.)

  • @mailerin FUCK CANADA ITS THE WORST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD FUCKING NIGGERS CANADIAN FAGS

  • You sick racist!

  • Your ignorance of Japanese culture and history is staggering. Japanese women had more legal rights than European women at the same time, such as holding property in their own name. As to their use of suicide, it was actually an expression of personal freedom. Look to Roman History and you see Europeans behaving much the same way in defeat. You have my condolences about your genitals btw and you are very brave to admit it on YouTube.

  • @formless777 i fucking agree

  • fuck you honkey white people are even worse.

  • I want to apologize, I had recently seen another cruel scene in a Seagal movie, he is a cruel, sadistic, bully who abuses knowing what he does and never should have been given his training.

  • very interesting .. but really i cant understand how they play that game..

  • Oh Great all in Japanese!!

    I'll look for other video

  • Lots of you talk about the past and wanting to be in it.hey that would be cool but not as cool as you think.

  • Nobunaga was in Onimusha games

  • is that kubozuwa yousuke playing the bald monk dude?

  • Ah, I remembered this one. Incident at Honoji, Mitsuhide Akechi's betrayal.

  • I love Japanese's history, maybe my previous life was a Japanese.

  • hey i was thinking the same thing!!^^ or maybe next life time i will be in history fighting!!

  • LOL, my friend, we only could go back, I mean, next life, we probably have flying cars and stuffs. No fun anymore, hihi.

  • noo!! it woudnt be!! well im in the wrong time!^^ i want to be in the past!

  • haha, yeah, girls are still good and traditional, wonderful chance to find a virgin one, lol

  • what? im lost..... (your nasty hehe^^)

  • "hey i was thinking the same thing!!^^ or maybe next life time i will be in history fighting!!"

Who says an incarnation will be in the future? Mabe your future life will be a past life, who knows until we get there. If thats the case then our lives are fated to turn out a certain way form the start!

  • Go is the Asian 'chess'...takes one second to learn, a lifetime to master. I adapted 'Go' principles to my chess game and improved greatly. 'Go' should be the boardgame of the world because of its' simplicity. I believe the origins of 'Go' are found in India...although, I cannot say that with any certainty.

  • watashi wa nihongo o hanasemasen

  • who is the original of this game?I saw in korea playing this game too

  • エイ語おねがいします。

  • やりすぎだ。。。

  • where can i get thsi video completed?
