hello and thanks for comments Micah, yeah all i dun was loaded a sample from a Vengeance sound pack into the step sequencer list, right clicked it and opened a piano roll for that sample, then just created a riff with it in an old skool happy hardcore way, not sure what the actual sound is called as its only numberd, but this is what i used anyhow if you manage to download it. the sound was from VENGEANCE Essential Club Sounds vol-3 \ VEC3 Synths folder and file is called VEC3 Synths 192D.
I think you really nailed it here. Absolutely loved it. I find the bass a tad distracting honestly, but other then that, everything has such an oldschool happy-go-lucky feeling to it. The bass is most likely the youtube quality however. Good job!
Also, I need to learn how you did the melody at about 1:20.
