i dropped my ipod touch in ice cold water, when i got it out the touch screen would only work half of the times i tried to slide the bar, also the screen was extremely dull and i could only see when it was directed at sun light, then after 1 hour it worked well but the screen was dull so i restarted it then half way threw its restart it went black and started flashing, then it broke. What do i do? is it dead??? );

@rbaxterphil I'm having the same problem, some times the screen gets dull, the volume buttons doesn't work properly and sometimes it work almost perfectly... wierd...

@rbaxterphil its not dead try charging it on to itunes then it will turn on, as for the screen, you need to clean off the corrosion inside the phone so you take the phone apart and just simply clean it witha tooth brush. I tried to put it in a bag of rice and it didnt work so yeah. OR you could take the phone apart and take alook at the two dots, if they r white you could send it to apple if its red it means it detected water damage so apple wont touch it. so far im trying to fix my phone
