Exactly. And when you think idependantly now your punished, myself and several friends were often either snubbed or sent out of class for simply questioning certain things such as immigration and unemployement and we were simply shunned for being either unpolitically correct, or simply because the teacher could not give an answer. All I can say is I'm glad not to be at school anymore, although again at college views are restricted somewhat.

The vietnam war came to an end,tensions in Russia were reduced, we suceeded in negotiations with China for diplomacy, the elimination of the Gold Standard. maybe you could read some history books or encyclopedias on Nixon to find more. That watergate scandal made most people forget about any good(which was bad).

Correction: Sandy Scheuer was going to class and not involved with the protest. She was a considerable distance away. The students were shot by Ohio National Guardsman, not security guards. The guard found themselves cornered--by unarmed, albeit angry students. Instead of shouldering arms and marching out th regroup, they chose to shoot their way out. The real culprit, however, was Gov. James Rhodes, who sent in troops (who were exhausted after a Teamsters strike) with live ammunition.

How so? That's just how some people are. Not everybody shares the revulsion to war that the modern hollywood elite would like you to think. Some people are perfectly at home in a combat zone.
If you asked him about it, he'd make like he was holding a rifle, say "the government gave me an M1 and had me go hunt gooks" then he'll do a comical mocking of Koreans by pulling his eyelids tighter, then he'll laugh some, and make shooting noises.

Everybody else? If EVERYBODY else had lost a grandfather in the war, I would be one of the people left alive today.
Statistically about five percent of combatants die in war, unfortunate but hardly a majority.

North Korea is hardly a threat, they have a decaying country, they have virtually no electrical power, most of their people are eating wild animals, rats, and grass.
China is an economic colossus with a strong military, a history of violent and aggressive expansion, and a sense of cultural and racial supremacy to their neighbors.

Communism is an economic doctrine stating that the workers of a country should own the means of production.
They are an authoritarian police state, but that's something that American needs to point out and urge to change.

That too, but America was facing a big problem with OPEC speculating about switching their trade currency to the Euro, dumping the US dollar which had been its mainstay since its inception.
The reason is because the US dollar is losing its value, and quickly.
We took Iraq, and basically made it into a puppet for our government, so essentially the US is now a member of OPEC.

The US dollar has lost its value because the US government has engaged in decades of wasteful spending while they simultaneously printed more of their worthless FIAT currency that was no longer backed by gold let alone gold and silver (it should be backed by both).
Nobody has any real idea how many US Dollars are in circulation as the Federal Reserve stopped publishing the M3 money supply data in 2005.

Communism in all of its forms has WITHOUT EXCEPTION always required tyranny to either implement or to both implement and maintain. Communism is contrary to human nature in that it suppresses man's desire to be free.
Communism is inherently authoritarian and oppressive, at the very root of the ideology it is such.

The idea of "communism has never existed in the true form" is something that communists say simply so they can write themselves a blank check to "try again" and in the process kill another 100 million of their political enemies.
If I said "Nazism in it's true form has never existed" the implication is "it would be a great thing, give it another chance" nobody would take such a remark seriously.
The world has seen the horrors of true communism, the only communism there is.

Communism is merely the consolidation of the means of production into the hands of the working class. With similar policies towards property in general. That's it.
Communist dictatorships had nothing to do with, and were not illustrated in the original theories of Karl Marx.
Marx was going for an egalitarian society, and obviously a dictatorship is fundamentally at odds with that.
I'm not advocating Communism, but it's dishonest of you to misrepresent history.
