this movie is entertaining, people always put down these "teen movies" of the 80s but I love them, makes me feel good watching them for some reason. this is one of those movies, the whole Look Of Love scene with the streets is great. And madonna was really cute in the 80s too ofcourse :P

I hear ya' Jason! I loved the 80s wave and I still love it now. Back then, movies were about fantasy, fiction, having fun...that was the innovation behind good entertainment. But then, people started shouting 'that's too fake' and now they want the movies to be as real as possible.

I still think this is Madonna's greatest performance.

I saw this movie way back when I was 3 or 4 years old in 87 or 88. My favorite part of this movie is at :30 when Griffin Dunne's character is walking down the street late at night. The water fountain looked so beautiful for some reason and the brightness of the blue water was beautiful too. And Madonna's song "The Look of Love" is a very nice ballad.
