@tallpaul521 Aww you are so lucky !! : ( I wish i could have met her !! Although she past away in 2006 she will never be forgotten she is a legend in my book !
After watching the 1930 version of The Varsity Drag scene from Good News(which was originally a Broadway musical from 1927), this version is kinda boring. And the costumes look so 1940s trying to pretend to be 1920s.
Did Peter Lawford do the singing himself or did someone dub him?

@Goedhartbros no, he sang for himself.

I wish this was the whole dance - it was edited terribly. Does anyone have the entire song and dance?

@dancingbutrfli I'm pretty sure this was from "That's Entertainment". The whole scene from Good News can be seen on You Tube...

The great Miss June Allyson. I had the pleasure of meeting her in the early 1980's.
The ultimate girl next door. I spent a half hour in her dressing room and even recieved a kiss from her. RIP Miss June.

Sorry, I made a typo. He says "THEY sure are blue." I'm not hearing it. It sounds pretty clear and not all that french to me.
