i's because of the way Freddy was written... he seemed to be too much of a comedian... if he was darker, no one would've any problems.

It's the fact that he IS somewhat of a comedian that makes him even more SICK to me. If someone just flat out kills someone and shows NO emotion about it, that's one thing but to be killing someone cracking jokes the WHOLE TIME, makes him sound like one sick demented bastard, like killing is a GAME with him.If I HAD to choose I'd rather be killed by the Freddy of part 1 than the Freddy of part 5, because the Freddy of part 5 is gonna torture for 2 or 3 hours before killing, that's turly scary!

Alice must be a lucky name, because everytime I watch a scary movie or any movie were a girl named Alice has to fight, she always wins. It's like in all movies I watch Alice always gets the last laugh. It's strange or maybe just coincidence.

i watched this last night the dvd has been cut the bit where freddy feeds the girl herself

i just bought the DVD and i got screwed because the movie was cut by 3 minutes which means that the death scenes were slightly trimmed, specifically when freddy feeds the girl, they cut the part where he slices the doll and then feeds it to her and they also cut the part where he re-feeds her from her stomach.

the movie originally went for 89 mins and my version went for 86 mins which really sux.

cos all the cool stuff was cut oh well shit happens but the movie was not a total loss.

Freddy is God. I couldn't believe that they let Jason beat him in the eigth. That retarded momma's boy would need a map to find his own boots. He's so horribly uncreative, it's just sad. And rather boring if you ask me. In the second movie Freddy gave that kid a chance to kill for him. I would have totally taken him up on it. I love Freddy Krueger.

Alice and Kirsten were my favorites because they were the main heroines in the first NOES I saw. Both are beautiful girls and strong characters. I would love to see the Alice storyline continued in any future production.
