  • Look for me on youtube at michaelsanjoaquinprescott

  • This is one the finest musicians met. Magically when we played together he was always surprising me. Worked with Glen and Tanya Tucker in Jacklson Hole Wyoming. What a fantastic time in my life. Michael San Joaquin

  • Doesn't get much better than this...thanks for sharing.

  • Great commentary on this tune. also about shopping for 45's. It's sad my kids can't know the fun of hanging out with your friends at Sam Goody's buying records. It's a lost time. At least we have these fantastic tunes and performances.

  • thanks for sharing this video..

  • I don't get it, John Hartford's studio version is so much more beautiful, and nowhere to be found

  • This is my down-south back road wheatfield cornfields country song... Grew up in the city ...but i know country life also...My parents used to send me down in the deep south as a kid to live with my uncle ..who had a farmm...and I used to hear this song ont he radio and just fall to pieces as I lived it..the great memoroes of the good ol days..

  • Love this. It's going on my wedding playlist.

  • I was about 14 when i first came across Glen's music, and now at 53 I still love it. He was/is also a very underrated, highly talented guitar player. Thanks!

  • This is pure americana!

  • One of THE best songs ever written!!...IMO

  • Listened to this song during my high school days. It has always me made me smile and feel good about being alive! After a few decades, it still has the same effect on me. It is indeed a timeless song interpreted very well by Glen Campbell and composed by the very talented John Hartford. Thank you for posting the song.
