  • 9 people may be right, but if feels good to be wrong.

  • I swear I'm a kid again everytime I hear this song!

  • Another brilliant OMD song. Love the Steel drums. Nice touch.

  • Anybody know what this song means?

  • kurt out of glee at 00.24!

  • I still love this song after all these years....GO OMD!

  • OMD on tour in North America go to "omd.uk.com" for tour dates and other information!

  • @tomyyboyy I'll be there for the opening show in Toronto!

  • fun, old school :-)

  • This honestly has to be one of the worst songs I've ever heard. And I'm not judging that based on genre preference but on song & lyric quality. I understand it was the '80s but so many other bands in that time were able to produce timeless, unforgettable songs. This is just, disappointing.

  • One of my fave songs from OMD, though "Forever (Live and Die)" is my best-liked song by them...

  • Belter!

  • unfortunately they didn't get much airplay in the US...except for "If you leave" but only because that came from the movie "Pretty in Pink" and maybe "forever live and die" The only way I really heard them was because they opened for Thompson Twins (or was it Howard Jones?)

  • @sandyk912 It was the Thompson Twins, the only time OMD ever came to Rochester!

  • exelente tema me encanta, omd lo maximo

  • Excellent song! I love the steel drums.

  • @SaveUsMavis I think the steel drums and the sax gives the tune a carribean feel. They should have had a video to suit.

  • FYI, OMD roots: Founders Andy McCluskey (from Meols) and Paul Humphreys (from Meols) met at primary school in Meols, Wirral, Merseyside, in the early 1960s, and in the mid-1970s, as teenagers, they were involved in different local groups.

  • One of the best 80s bands

  • At least one good thing came out of the Wirral...

  • Like this song...See more eighties music on my growing channel.!!!!

  • Is it me or Paul Humphreys runs like a sissy??

  • @azzkeeker That is the standard early 90's music video, running through a field run...

  • @WheezerK9 80's mate not the 90's

  • Their music went so "popish" after this song.

  • but not so popish as pop artists today.

  • @Doteatsurpants There were a lot of songs/artists back in the 80's who you can give the lable of "pop" music.

OMD for one thing is after this song little bit more poppy but not too much.

    After this song

  • TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF AGAIN TUT TUT

  • fantastic brings back loads of good memories

  • Like "lukeweatherlike" I wasn't even born when they released this. I discovered OMD when I was about 12 and that how my love to "synth Britannia" started. It still lasts :)

  • take that bassline for a walk baby

  • brings back memories. What a wonderful song!

  • Luv it!

  • OH, YEAH.

  • Spell much?

  • Mes souvenirs de jeunesse reviennent à vitesse grand V dans la tête avec ce titre magnifique ! merci pour la vidéo - OMD Forever !

  • Was it '84?? Thought it was '83 or '82. Doesnt matter - remember the cassette in car pool in Atlanta, Ga. Thanks for posting!

  • I thought it was '83, i've just checked the 7" single and in the UK it was released by 'Virgin records' in '84. But like you said it doesn't matter, timeless music, great memories.

  • 1984

  • Prawdziwa PEREŁKA:-)

    Super muza:-) !!!

  • Brilliant song !

  • Great song,so it doesn't matter if the video isn't very good.

  • I'm 21 years old. I wasn't born when this came out. I just picked up some old cassettes my dad made back in his college days, and found this song on one of them. Instantly looked up the lyrics to learn who performed it. AMAZING!

  • I wasn't born when this came out either but I discovered it VERY young and haven't looked back since....

Fucked up thing is I listen to Iron Maiden and death metal as a preference, but I still dig OMD!

  • Nothing wrong w. lightening it up once in a while.

  • @lukesweatherlight maralyn manson loves depeche mode lol know what you mean trough i love judas preist and i love the new romantic stuff omd rocks

  • @lukesweatherlight There's nothing f*cked up about anything when it comes to taste in music. You like what you like. I loooOOOooove OMD and Iron Maiden.

  • Great OMD song....one of the worst videos ever made.

  • One of my favorite songs of theirs. Smiles.

  • Good song , i usely don´t listen to this kind of music ... but iam imprest of this song :) Coooooooooooool

  • i love this song... i have this on my omd cd..

  • what a song!!!!!!!!

  • I enjouy this song it also reminds me of my brother's train set. A Also my brother likes trains and stations I htink I shold recomend this song to him so whenever he visits stations etc he will problably remember this song.

  • i'll say ,yup weird good song tho

  • very nice :]

  • my mates sing this (they're older than me) now i know they're not insane.

  • I love OMD, but these music videos are just plain stupid.

  • yep so true great songs but there videos are just so anoying

  • After listening to this track awhile back, I was expecting the video to show shirtless men dancing at a gay cruise.

  • your on the wrong website mate?

  • Once you've heard this you'll never forget it lol

  • Doesn't McClusky write for the Pussycat Dolls now?

  • Lol, how close can you get to the perfect popsong, I wonder. Not that I'm particulary fun of it, still great nonsense

  • Love this brilliant song!!!

  • i love OMD:)

  • it was summer 1984 this song reminds me of everton winning the fa cup of that year i wish we could go back in time to the 80s

  • reminds me of the following year when good old norman whiteside ........... well good luck Vs the rent boys tomorrow.

  • Norman Whiteside . A Man United Legend !

  • Does anyone else know what is going on? I hit 16 and -boom- OMD disappeared! Where is the fun in the Spleen? Or the Liver? No mention of the rain-drops that stomped all over my Lollipop - which is worse than it sounds in about 1985 I think? Someone who doesn't know 'Locomotion' and 'Enola Gay' told me to go away the other day - not a good sign - they should tune-in to my Gerbil's sack more often. Don't knock the 80s - correct me, daddy.

  • This is a great track by a great band. But have to say that most of 80's pop was meaningless pretentious crap!

  • Please learn what the word "pretentious" means before you use it...

  • It means to claim great merit or importance. And that summs up the attitude of the 80's very nicely!

  • i love your video grabe!

  • i love OMD.....haven't seen them live but have seen Duran Duran live 3 times now in the last 5 years and wow what a huge concert it was with around 54,000 watching them in Sydney AND YES they were awesome the crowd loved em.

  • I seen OMD live. The band members all wore black pants and white dress shirts and ties. It was remembrance of watching Kraftwerk in concert, but a little more lively.Great show!!!

  • This is my favorite song from OMD

  • A very happy song indeed.

  • Well, Junk Culture isn´t my favourite album but OMD is OMD and it´s so difficult to overcome "Architecture and Morality " or "Dazzle Ships"...

  • You are so right: "Architecture and Morality " or "Dazzle Ships"...the best of OMD. Great music.

  • Thanks.

  • Did MTV ever try to reunite OMD? if not they should have did a show on them!

  • They have reunited for a major tour and a new album after 17 years...have a look at their official website or the new Souvenir DVD which shows them rehearsing for the new dates.

  • One of the better bands of the 80s.

  • Cierto

  • THE BEST band !

  • ONe of the best ´80's bands...

  • Great song, saw them live in early '92 or '91 in SLC, UT, Sugar Tax Tour (have my dates mixed up in my Saling the 7 Sea's post). Fantastic band!

  • Fantastic live in London in 2007. Thanks for posting

  • I want O.M.D. to reunite for a concert tour. I love their music! Sighs..

  • The only station I heard this was on the now-defunct Planet 96.3 Detroit when they did "Alternative Classice" back in '98.

  • May have been big in England, but didn't get much play here in the U.S.(even NY)- so happy to hear it again. Great posting, Yombina!

  • Wonderful song!!!

  • As Steve Wright once said 'whats a Wirral then'. Liverpool is close enough....

  • This track is one of the most inspirational songs of all time! Vincent Gilio. Music fan.

  • Another great Liverpool band.

  • The Wirral, just to be super pedantic!

But a great band they are!

  • brings back great memories, great song

  • i love this video... omd rules...
