This honestly has to be one of the worst songs I've ever heard. And I'm not judging that based on genre preference but on song & lyric quality. I understand it was the '80s but so many other bands in that time were able to produce timeless, unforgettable songs. This is just, disappointing.

FYI, OMD roots: Founders Andy McCluskey (from Meols) and Paul Humphreys (from Meols) met at primary school in Meols, Wirral, Merseyside, in the early 1960s, and in the mid-1970s, as teenagers, they were involved in different local groups.

I'm 21 years old. I wasn't born when this came out. I just picked up some old cassettes my dad made back in his college days, and found this song on one of them. Instantly looked up the lyrics to learn who performed it. AMAZING!

Does anyone else know what is going on? I hit 16 and -boom- OMD disappeared! Where is the fun in the Spleen? Or the Liver? i love OMD.....haven't seen them live but have seen Duran Duran live 3 times now in the last 5 years and wow what a huge concert it was with around 54,000 watching them in Sydney AND YES they were awesome the crowd loved em.
