  • Ah Tutti Contenti

  • Thanks !

  • No there aren't. Twat. That was a comment by Salieri in the film where he was unfortunately portrayed as a DICK! The whole point of Mozart is joy of life, for ALL. Thats what makes it so beautiful. He was literally the voice of God. HOW GORGEOUS IS THIS!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????? I'm in floods of tears over here! Xx

  • Most beautiful piece of music yet produced.

  • This should be played when Salieri says "I absolve you"

  • Words cannot describe the divine quality of Mozart...

  • great and beautiful

  • from 1:10 to 1:25 its simply divine..its the 20th time i'm hearing to this in 2 days..quite mad i know xD

  • So touched very time when I heard this

    Mozart....speechless

Not hard to figure out why Leopold wept for Woflgang oftenly

  • So beautiful!

  • 有夠讚! (In Taiwaner: very good!)

  • Forgiveness in his most pure form. Music is a really devine way to express feelings that cannot be said with plain words.

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart truly is the messenger of god.

  • this is without a doubt one the most beautiful and heartbreaking melodies I have ever or will ever hear in my lifetime. absolutely exquisite. makes me weep every time I hear it . Music is the only Divine truth in life. bravo!

  • God was truly singing through this little man... It's like listening to the Angels of Heaven itself who do not sing for God or Man, but for all Creation.

  • Everytime I hear this beautiful passage I can't stop weeping for joy !!!!!

  • perfect

  • does anyone know the title of the last mozart piece that is playing in amadeus when salieri is reading the samples of mozart's work that mozart's wife brought to him? its the piece thats playing with a woman singing while salieri drops the compositions on the floor because he is overwhelmed by the beauty of the music

  • @tuckosi i think it's "Große Messe in c-moll" KV 427, Part 1 "Kyrie". In this Mass (in fact it's just a "fragment" - like the requiem) there are much more interesting parts like for example the "et incarnatus est" - one of the versions i prefer is the Karjan-Gold of DG with Barbara Hendricks, soprano

  • @tuckosi that is his great mass in C minor. k427. it is featured earlier in the film too, as mozart and constanze are being married. it is a beautiful piece

  • @tuckosi The "Great" Mass in C Minor; Kyrie eleison

  • Awesome! My favorite part of the opera - (probably because of how Salieri described it in the movie.)

  • I love this piece. From 0:44 to 1:37 is just incredible especially when the strings come in to answer at 1:17. Never gets old.

  • the 3 last posts are kinda backwards i know

    sry about that

  • The orchestration for this finale to Figaro is brilliant. Neville Marriner has long been considered a gifted Mozartian conductor. I was sad to discover that this is not from a full length recording. This was only done for the soundtrack to the 1984 film Amadeus. This sounds like it would have made a great recording in itself. Marriner's recording features Jose van Dam, Ruggero Raimondo, Barbara Hendricks & Lucia Popp. It's a good album but this here does sound better!

  • Riuk881 what is your favorite piece by Mozart

  • One of greatest Operas ever written, period.

  • Please can any German speakers translate this angelic song?....

  • @Empirical1980 This is actually Italian, from Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro. Subtitles of this section can be found on this video:

    watch?v=BcB0Nb6_0qQ&feature=related

The part of Figaro that this video shows starts around 2:48 of the linked video.

  • @Empirical1980 You can get the entire libretto in the original Italian with side-by-side English by googling "Marriage of Figaro libretto English". I tried to post a URL of one but youtube wouldn't post my comment :)

Find a translation, scroll to the bottom of it and this video starts where you see the lines - Basilio, Curzio, Almaviva, Bartolo and Antonio: Oh cielo! che veggio! Deliro! Vaneggio! Che creder non so?

Basically the male voice apologizes and the female forgives him.

  • @Empirical1980 it italian but here it goes

    Il Conte:

    Contessa, perdono! Countess, pardon me!

    La Contessa:

Più docile io sono, I am more gentle,

e dico di sì. and I grant it you.

  • @Empirical1980 TUTTI Ah, tutti contenti Ah, all will now saremo così. be happy. Questo giorno di tormenti, This day of torments, di capricci, e di follia, of caprice, of folly, in contenti e in allegria in content and happiness solo amor può terminar. only love can end it. Sposi, amici, al ballo, al gioco, Friends, lovers, to dance, to play, alle mine date foco! set off the fireworks! Ed al suon di lieta marcia And to the sound of gay music
  • @Pmutley Well unfortunately the "questo giorno di tormenti" part and the very last part isn't included in the Amadeus soundtrack. It just featured the ah tutti contenti. This is very beautifully sung and I think it's one of the best done versions of it, other than the great version by Solti with Ramey, Allen & Te Kanawa. This was recorded only for Amadeus. There is a Figaro with the same conductor & orchestra: Marriner & Academy of St Martin-in-the-fields with Van Dam, Raimondi, Popp, Hendricks

  • @Empirical1980

corriam tutti a festeggiar! we all run to celebrate!

  • Ah, tutti contenti saremo così!

  • The best. Thank you.

  • Mediocrities everywhere....

  • Thank you soooo much and god bless you

  • Love this opera

  • mozart is the king of classcal music

  • @mozartchh Bach is my favorite but Mozart is a very wonderful composer

  • Even though Amadeus was done from a fiction perspective, its still baffles how someone can yawn from music so glorious and....beautiful as this!!

    (i.e. Emperor Augustine lol)

My favorite portion of the piece is the when entire group joins in as one great harmony

  • @CrazyIvan316 I myself am convinced that he jawned partly because he, as Salieri says, had no musical talent at all, but also because the air in the theater was bad (think about all those candles, swallowing oxygen!) and his brain was thus in need of a yawn to get it's supply of oxygen.

  • i just want the lyrics translation, but i cant find them on the internet :/

  • Sublime forgiveness

  • Mozart is a god!

  • viva beethoven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Immortal!

  • music of absolute beauty

  • perfection

  • thank you,God bless you....

  • Thanks ! :-)
