  • I love it and its music !

  • One word " writers".You have to pay for quality. Now go watch some spoiled brat make a fool of themselves.

  • This was my favourite show of the 80's. Its a shame there were only 2 seasons. Everything about the show was so cool, Ray, the car and that brilliant theme tune. Would love to get this on DVD but it's only available on region 1. T.V. is so crap now. They can't make shows like they did in the 80's.

  • The pilot to this show was sick! It was 2 hours and I never forget how cool it was. The series really couldn't live up to the first episode though. The fight scene at the very end, the camera work, music...it was cool as hell!

  • This was my favorite show back in the day.

  • this is the show where this bloke asks women to help him and promises never to shagg them if they do. hmmm good strategy.

  • He's an illuminati operative from what I gather based on the triangle symbol you see at the beginning of the clip.

  • I

    Want

    that

    CAR!!!

  • ...forever ....forever in our hearts.....

  • THIS IS THE GOOD STUFF!!!!

  • sexiest mouth I've ever seen

  • faggot

  • @firewalled1951 You pathetic jealous loser

  • you are still a faggot

  • @firewalled1951 Hey fireballs, what planet are you from where a woman who admires a man is a faggot? I think you're the real "faggot" here --come out of the closet already, ya old bitch.

  • @duskyhued476

    You're a woman?

Wow, I never would have thought so since you profess to be attracted to women in your other comments on other youtube videos.

You say that you really would like to bed those women so I thought you were a normal man.

And then when you come out with a statement that you think that Nick Mancuso's lips are sexy, leads me to believe that you are a FLAMING FAGGOT.

Now you try to get out of it by "claiming" to be a woman.

    Your username gives you away.

    HuskyDude is a man

  • This was a very challenging TV series in my opinion.....not like the junk nowadays. Stingray was always one of my favorite action series back in those days....like Hardcastle&McCormick, Airwolf or The A-Team this was good entertainment.....not like that stuff nowadays.

  • Still love that theme music after all these years.

  • Stingray, Adderly, StreetHawk, Airwolf, Masquerade, The Master, The Fall Guy, The Wizard, The Misfits of Science.

What happened with the good one, intelligent series, why are we watching today's inmorality only?

  • @Pauninggio on tha real

  • @Pauninggio I can tell we are around the same age, LOL.

  • I can remember watching this show as a child, but I can't remember the plot line behind it. Can somebody please help?

  • stingray is a man without a past who solves impossible problems for people in exchange for a favour down the line.

  • I've been renting these from Netflix. I had seen only one show in the mid-80's and I'm glad they're out on DVD. Stingray is a very cool, complex character. Like a one man A-Team.

  • I remember that in any unarmed combat scene, the 'Ray' character used Hapkido or Tae Kwon Do fighting technique. I recognized the moves by the stunt double and because 'Ray' was so good at it was another reason I enjoyed the series. My friends & I always talked about the fighting scenes we saw in the show before attending Tae Kwon Do class back in the 80s. We were fans of the 'Ray' character played perfectly by Mr Nick Mancuso. There should be a remake for the new generation!

  • wasn't he the guy who helps people out of problematic situations and not accepting any payment except a favour that they would have to give him in the future?

if yes, then i have finally found a series that i loved when i was a child... couldn't remember his name...

  • His name was just "Ray".

  • Yes, thats him...

  • I had the honor of watching Pete Carpenter conduct & perform popular 70's & 80's TV show themes (like The Rockford Files & The A-Team) at EPCOT Centre, Disney World in June of 1984. I believe he was there briefly as a guest conductor. He and Mike Post have composed great themes all this while and the Stingray theme is my favorite.

  • I like many series of the 80`s, A-Team, Air Wolf. Knight Rider, Hardcastle and Mc Cormick..

But Stingray was my favorite series.. A very nice car and a good actor with Nick Mancuso, he was always cool.

  • fuck ...........i thought this was gonna be the puppet show

  • MR. VANCOUVER...NICK MANCUSO.

  • Good show

  • Thank God, finally found this opening theme of Stingray!

I was shocked when I first saw this theme. It was too awsome and cool for me and was my first English TV drama that I was interested in a lot though I didn't understand most of them.

    Anyway,thank you very very much!!!!!

  • NICK MANCUSO...VANCOUVER ACTOR.

  • Hey, man! That was my favourite American TV series in 1987 (I was 16). It's nice to see this opening again.

  • It's the Medic :O

  • Nick Mancuso`s Digital Downloads are now available. Download Nick`s films, most recent projects, writings, and digital art:

Nick Mancuso Italy, The Italian Site

  • I liked this guy alot because he didn't want money or greed... Just a "favor".

  • That was cool. "I'm going to ask you for a favor. No matter what it is your going to do it." That was a cool show.

  • Yay! Thanks for posting this. It was one of my favorite tv shows. Awesome!

  • I remember watching this show as a teen...damn good times :)

  • A true classic!

  • oh man lol i used to love watching this program, love the corvette ...sexy

  • I was a child when Stangray appeared on TV on my country it brings many memories of those good days.

  • Never heard of this but it has a nice sounding theme intro, as most series back then did. I have to find out how many seasons it lasted. I'm more acquainted with a certain 1973 White Stingray Corvette TV series: The Magician with Bill Bixby which my channel is all about. Keep the faith! Sam.

  • Sadly, only 2 seasons. NBC cancelled it, then realised, 2 years later, they had cancelled a hit series, with a 24% audience share on Tuesday nights. After cancelling, their Tuesday nights fell significantly to a 12% share. 2 hour "Pilot" (1985), 1st Season (1986) and 2nd Season (1987). Total number of episodes: 24. Should of ran A LOT longer than "The A-Team", also created by Stephen J. Cannell.

  • Hitcher, I agree completely. Another great Mike Post theme as well. Interesting, that you mention the corollary if the A-Team, another SJC show. I remember a particular Stingray episode with Rachel Ticotan about migrant workers and wonder if the subject matter was too truthful for audiences back then

  • Great series, I loved it. The intro is pretty cool.

    80's and 90's forever! :-)

  • One of my favorite intros (this and "The Renegades" from 1982).

  • was für eine saugeile Karre ... :o)

  • best intro ever, okay hulk is also cool...

  • I absolutely LOVED this show! Nick Mancuso...come back!

  • From the description it sounds a lot like Vengeance Unlimited, but not as good.

  • Excellent !!!

  • I dont even think i can fit into a 65 stingray anymore ,,,lol

  • This car and the carsw from Miami Vice and Magnum p.i. had the best cars.

  • This was as good as it gets, best show ever other then miami vice...Damn why did it go away

  • got two words for ya buddy, reality television

  • True - A shame both shows had to die. Nothing today comes even near !

  • I don't know which car I wanted more that 'Vette, Crockett's Ferrari, or Nightman's Prowler!

  • my mom loved this show. however, i think she really liked mancuso. i always thought it was dumb

  • This was one of my all time favorite tv shows! It had it all, cool, laid back guy, great car, and the best theme song of all time. I could never understand why it didn't get the ratings and stay around longer?

  • Anyone remember the episode where he went to collect on a 'favor' from some female, and she said 'I cant do that'. And he was like 'ok thats how it goes, darn'. After that I was a little miffed with him because he let someone break the pact, the rule of the trade, i do you a favor, you will owe me one, no questions asked... I thought that idea was pretty studly

  • This is one of my favorites TV shows of all time. In mater fact, it still is. It's a shame that Nick Mancuso decided leaving the project at second season's end...

  • some one on the show once ran his car tag and it was listed as part of the presidents personal cars at the white house at the time so some thought he was secret service or part or the presidents famliy at the time -loved the show -you are right 80 shows were the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember staying until 2am to see this show on channel 4 in Montevideo, Uruguay. I really liked it when I was a kid

  • Eine der besten Serien der Welt. Sowas gibt es heute nich mehr. Schade

  • ill agree with a movie. I think the A-team also needs a movie.)

  • In Brazil, this TV show was named "Contrato de Risco" (Risky Contract, in English), and was shown in Globo TV, and after, in Record TV.

  • I always watched this show when I was a little kid. The 80's had the best t.v shows of all time.

  • The show had the coolest opening and that kick ass opening theme.

  • Kassop I agree, I'd love to see it on the big screen. Not sure who I'd have playing Ray though. Someone mysterious obviously.

  • Michael Wincott is a name who comes to mind. He pretty much likes working on movies, but he would've been the only other one besides Mancuso who I could picture in the role of 'Ray'.

  • DVD for Stingray starring Nick Mancuso due on december of 2007

  • It'll be on my Christmas List, for sure!

  • Brilliant!

  • I watched this in the 80's as I recall didn't last long, starred Nick Mancuso who I believe is Canadian and is still acting.

  • Needs to be on the big screen, any one agree with me?

  • definatly needs the dvd treatment

  • thanx for posting this I loved the show, more than what was after it (MIami Vice)

  • Stingray was a great show! This really brought back memories. Thanks for the post!

  • Recuerdo aún esta serie, era de mis favoritas. Y recuerdo también cuando lo anunciaban en el comercial. Su única pasión: La aventura. Su único compañero: Un corvette del 65. Stingray, a donde va deja una señal

  • Thank you SOOOO MUCH!!! For posting this intro!! I LOVE STINGRAY!!! Thank you, you have made my year!
