  • Thanks for the well-informed description of In Taberna. This performance sounds very exciting! It would be nice to see a video of the staged production! WOW!

  • Sheet music for this is where...?

  • If Carmina Burana contains only the lyrics, where does this melody comes from ? Thanks.

  • I didn't know there was a medieval version of this, I assume this is the original

  • @Shaggysan Yes it is.

  • what is this one about?

    sounds nice

  • wonderfull

  • Look in Youtube for:

In Taberna Quando Sumus - Coro Sinfônico UnB

  • Can someone please tell me the names of the wind instruments used here? Thanks.

  • carajo! hay cosas que deberian quedarse como estaban, esto suena mucho mejor en su contexto medieval en cual los monjes goliardos lo escribieron,

perfiero la vercion de corvus corax, ellos llevan mejor el contexto medieval. /// damn! some things should remain as they were, this sounds much better in its medieval context in which the monks goliards wrote it,

I'd rather vercion of corvus corax, they have better medieval context.

  • VIVAT....

  • PUT DOWNLOAD LINK PLEASE

  • @masenkogohan

Don't think this is spam, I'm just giving someone means to get this song.

file2hd dot com, lets you convert it to mp3 right away, just link this video.

It's awesome I use it all the time.

  • @ColinOfBarbaria: I think you didn't read the comment of odoacreosorkon nor what I wrote. Carl Orff was the last one to put these music into songs.

  • ColinOfBarbara: Ok he was the LAST thats what i was wondering. I didnt know anybody had put these poems into songs before him. That is after the era it was written in.

@ColinOfBarbaria: I could tell you a lot more about the CB but this isn't the place to do it.

  • @micrologus2 Would you be so kind to recommend me a good source of information on Carmina Burana? Sorry for the intrusion.

  • Today we had translate it in german ^^ funny stuff

  • è stupendo!!!

  • In Taberna [Dans la taverne : chansons à boire et satiriques] (CB 191, 130 et 222)

  • This song is named "In taberna quando sumus", it is from "Carmina Burana" which is a medieval collection of songs and poems (XIII century).

This Youtube is the medieval music. Composer and author are unknown.

I think this version is recorded by Ensemble Unicorn and Ensemble Oni Wytars. CD edited by Naxos.

Some of theses poems were used by XX century composer Carl Orff in a scenic cantata. But style and music are very different. Look for "Carmina Burana" in wikipedia...

  • @odoacreosorkon: No it isn't Ensemble Unicorn&Oni Wytars but Modo Antiquo edited by Brilliant Classics

  • @micrologus2 Do you know where can I find the full list of the 47 Carmina Burana with musical accompainment? I can't find it anywhere (sorry for bad english)

  • maybe A.C. xD

  • a question what`s the name of this cd??

  • superbly
