I was able to get grants to enroll in college thankfully. But still, why should the people of Alabama support illegal immigrants, when they live off our tax dollars, which they don't contribute too, and they take up 5% of our jobs? I was able to get grants to enroll in college thankfully. But still, why should the people of Alabama support illegal immigrants, when they live off our tax dollars, which they don't contribute too, and they take up 5% of our jobs? It's really simple the only way they can be asked if they are here illegally is if they are already being questioned about another offense. In this case if they have proper ID that is verified there wont even be a question asked. I am more for citzens rights than I am for Illegal immigrants rights. Simple as that.

People are trying to dictate what a American looks like when Americans look like everyone because American is a mix of everyone. To impose laws that specifically allow police to racially profile people coupled with the patriot act makes the laws in America identical to those in Nazi Germany.

@mucura1 There is laws already in effect that says you are supposed to keep an ID on you if you are able to get one. A country with no boarders or strict immigration laws will no longer be a country. If you go to any other country than the US there Illegal imigration laws are much worse than anyone of ours that is in law or we could ever make into law. I do belive in less government and more freedoms but we cannot afford to keep taking on illegals thats all i'm saying.

@21elmollo Well let's see. If you're here illegally, you can't get a drivers liscence which means you can't register a car, no tax is paid on the car sale. If you don't have a social security number or work visa, you can't get a legit job, so again, no taxes paid on income.No ID + no s.s# = no bank will give you a loan to buy a house. No property taxes being paid. If they had enough money to buy a house, they would come here legally. citizens, tourists and immigrants pay taxes at stores ect.

This ensure that the funds that are set for legal citizens based on tax collected is used on those who are legal.
There is nothing wrong with legal immigration, but ILLEGAL immigration must not be tolerated by anyone in any country.
