One of my favorite clips from one of my favorite movies (Meet the Robinsons): video 7p_eKV3SzwE on youtube - it won't let me post a link for some reason.
Whenever I start to feel burnt-out and overwhelmed, I remind myself to "Keep moving forward." Plus, now that you have a wee-one in the house, you have an excuse to watch all these wonderful "kids" movies. "Meet the Robinsons" is a family favorite.
The ol food police eh? Everyone and their good intentions. I never feel guilty tho, and people know better and keep their comments to themselves when it comes to my condition. As for the complications, some people can even get them even with strict glucose regulation. Sometimes your body just doesn't handle even regular blood sugar well and can deliver complications early in life. Great vid, liked!
Thanks Kerri, I've been feeling down about my diabetes care lately, been seeing more high numbers than I'd like, but like you said taking care of emotional health/stress will help you do better with your diabetes care. Thanks for the inspiration!

Doris - I think depression is a diabetes complication as well, but not related to high blood sugars.

No, complications are a result of high blood sugar not having the label "diabetic"!
