Sun Microsystems was on the way to revolutionizes everything, just watch all the Solaris technologies like Dtrace, ZFS, Crossbow, Containers. Just look this awesome desktop, and now? Nothing, Opensolaris is dead, Sun Microsystems is dead, Oracle is just acting stupid like they removed Xen from Solaris and also, they gonna remove more awesome things, i think Solaris 11 will be just a hostsystem for Oracle databases

Solaris is possibly the best OS out there, and at the same time, it's the most unused. Ha ha ha ha. Seriously though, this thing does what game consoles do.

If anyone has played quake on there, you'll find that the OS does not interfere with running games the way your game system does. I can't even begin to explain the power it has, but it's so sad that theres...... no..... user base.... at all!!! Someone do something!!!!

It's nice, but it's still just testing software. Runs dreadfully slow as it's all Java...

Kerigle, how could they copy this from Microsoft? Sun had a working prototype long before Vista. If anything, Microsoft copied from them.
