Small local donut shops--usually family owned make the best donuts, actually. Though some of them can suck. Krispy Kreme Donut theaters (they actually are called theaters) are very entertaining to me. The only really good Krispy donuts are the glazed ones when they're hot.

Dunking Donuts Are not that good, I bet you can Find Tastier ones at local Pastrie Shops, Like the one in my neighborhood, they make all Fillings out of fresh Fruits and OMG they taste like a small piece of Heaven! 10/10 Dunking donuts for me is more like a 6/10 =/

Don't worry everyone one. If you drink a cup of hot water after eating a dounut, all the fat will melt away before your body absorbs it!.Or eat the dounut with a small portion of fruit, the fruit will "cancel" out any unhealty aspects of the dounut. Enjoy!

i love love love it when you are in line, and the worker plucks a hot, FRESH, yeasty, sweet glaze covered doughnut, gently wraps waX paper on it, and gives it to you as you stand in line. Its amazing how so many people made such a big deal every time a new location opened. You'd think its was the opening of an Apple Store LOL. Krispy Kreme was founded here in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area of North Carolina. I'm 30 years old and have been eating these donuts since I was a toddler. My mom is 61 years old and has been eating them since she was a little girl. Krispy Kreme is nothing new to us.
