I think Bowie's original is so brilliant because he made a song with deep powerful lyrics and put it to hip danceable music so it could be played and enjoyed by the masses without having them really reflect on the content of the song unless they chose to do so. It isn't music with a message forced down your throat.

i dont know... i am a bowie fan and i still liked this a lot. i mean you knew before you opened this that it wasn't bowie so either watch something else or enjoy it!

I like the grungy spin on this. While I don't like slow covers of this song as much, the solo break is AWESOME and appeals to me more than the sax solo in Bowie's version.
