such an emotinal scene. really shows the emptiness and darkness jesse feels, hes just completly lost and had given up caring about anything. really sad seeing loveable jesse turning into the stuff cold blooded killers are made of. he still is my favorite characters but still.
Even without any context, this scene alone can communicate the whole spirit of Jesse's character and the season's mood. This is excellent writing, and even better acting. Brilliant.
I just can't get enough of when it kciks in at the start. When that real estate woman realises she has a kleptomaniac on her hands, and the music just comes in...
amazing scene. This season so far has been so dark. I love it. Really showing the stae of Jesse's mind which is appropriate considering everything the guy has been through. Aaron Paul is doing a phenomenal job every episode. Should win an Emmy next year.
Meth is such a dirty drug, what it turns people into its just sick. Its almost sickening when they talk about how pure the meth is. What it does to ur body, its like taking a used car fillin it with gas & putting the pedal to the floor on some long uninterrupted road & only stopping for gas no oil change no tune up
Fever Ray and Breaking Bad ! Big thanks to everyone involved in the show. I imagine filming that scene must have been fun, an amazing take on the human condition. Love the show and err they're minerals not ROCKS !!!
I hope you arent saying that everyone commenting has committed first degree murder. And also i dont think i can Relate to Jesse's Parties. Maybe the FIRST 24 / 48 Hours of his party, with Skinny Pete and Badger, Doing mad Blow, Smoking Blunt's and Breaking it down...
But...His house has gotten out of hand. It's like a spot for junkies to plunge , and homeless pieces of shit to steal from, and squat at. Jesse clearly doesn't Care, Given that apartment is NOTHING to him.
I totally adore this scene and everything about it, the hopelessness in Jesse, the bleak looking mess he's in, after watching this from day 1 and seeing everything he's been through it's almost genuinely hard to watch this. But damn it's good
This is defiantly one of the best scenes of the entire show. I think this is really setting the tone for the rest of season 4: very hopeless, dark, and depressing.
Did anyone notice the part of the scene where the guys were moshing. One of the dudes heads swung back and hit the camera @ the 2:05 mark I think. Man jesse needs molly maids service or sumthin his place looks like a creepy crack house
Yeah. I think in his mind is just permantly lodged, the image of Gale on the floor of his apartment. With that Round he fired into his face. I dont think he is able to accept the reality of the situation at hand. He was so sure he was not capable of murder. He was so sure he was not the worst person in the world, he still had choices and options.
But with One Phone call, One Order, One Round fired, his entire life has been turned upside down, and he clearly cant cope anymore.
This scene is magnificent and shows perfectly how much of a lonely soul Jesse is. Whoever chose Fever Ray's "If I had a heart" for this sequence is a genius. Music supervision in perfection. Thanks for uploading.
I thought I was hearing shit that wasn't there when Fever Ray started to play in my favorite show. This scene was heartbreaking, watching Jesse fall apart all over again. He was reaching out to Walt when he asked him to go go-carting, and Walt, as usual missed the signs that Jesse needs him as a friend, not a business partner.
Last week he earned the Emmy on the party scene... this week on this scene... too bad the show was released this after the Emmys closed his nominations =/

Yeah, i think there's a line on everyone's...Limits of partying.
And mine stops after Pot & Alcohol. That, and dabbling in Opiates every now and then. Meth, Coke, Crack, Heroin, All no goes. Also DMT and Acid.

Yet ANOTHER brilliant use of music in this show. I couldn't pick a darker and bleaker song than this for this scene.

@blizzy00 i was talking about his general state of despair and helplessness. When he was driving the go kart for instance.
Not the all the junkies or the murder
