seems futile but my two cents; Nick Diaz is too real for the ufc. I think he has honor, but he doesn't have grace. it seems like dana would be glad to market that, because as a ufc fan, i can say that it's lacking without nick. lawler diaz was the first fight i had ever seen him in, and casual fans might not know or remember, but lawler was the shit back then, in the UFC. If he'd put all his energy into wrestling, he could give GSP a great fight.

@vivalafiends UNTRUE, Diaz is an excellent ground fighter and he has proven that. I've never seen anyone submit an opponent with such speed and ferocity and diaz, plus it was with a gogoplata! ( obviously i'm referring to the takanori fight) also you don't get a bjj black belt for just nothing!

I would love to see a Diego Sanchez rematch. Nick Diaz is much much better than he was a couple years ago. He is pound for pound top 10 at least in my opinion. hes got a point, bjj is about finishing fights it might take a while to set shit up but its decisive were wrestling is more for control and riding the clock and i hate when dudes win figths 30-27 cause they got 3 takedowns. how bout winning the fight off 3 clean jabs, or 3 sub attempts? they do more damage or a closer to finishing a fight then a fucking takedown. i love mma but the way the rules are sanctioned now it should be called ultimate athlete championship, 10min 1st round forces finishes
