@jayseemore Nah, Death is his own reaper. He only has to think someone dead and they'll be dead. He doesn't have to touch them like the other reapers. In the pizza shop scene, he reaped them all just sitting there eating his pizza. He wouldn't have wasted his energy to get up touch everyone (I don't think he likes to actually touch humans since he considers us "insects" of sorts).
