  • Great video! J.

  • The name of the gorgeous brunette in this video is Lucy Blair. She is the daughter of Lionel Blair.

  • I can tell the gorgeous brunette girl is totally crushing on himin this video. Wondering if anything happened between them.

  • Nice 80's song!

  • Great song first of all, great looking female vocalist also!

I've always been a big Nick fan!

  • @PaulCarbone54 Yeah... she's hot!

What's her name? Does anybody know?

  • thank-you so much for posting this. I live in the USA and in the 80's Nick was not big over here. I never got to see this video. I love NIck Heyward...always did!

  • I still got this cassette, awesome!

  • This song and "Kite" really should have been bigger hits. Heyward was really underrated. On other hand, it's very cool to rediscover great songs on youtube that haven't been overplayed to death on terrestrial or satellite radio.

  • i bought his CD 1989

    it bring me a memory

  • Nick Heyward is, without a doubt, one of the most underrated singer/songwriters out there. I had the pleasure of seeing him play at an in-store appearance at the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood when he was supporting "From Monday to Sunday" - I got to stand about four feet from him - very cool! I got him to autograph my CD insert and got to chat with him for a second, only long enough to say "dude, love your music, been a fan since I was 13 years old, you're awesome." He thanked me politely.

  • Around 1990, there was a short-lived radio startiojn in Houston that played really cool stuff and they played the hell out of a dance remix of this song. I've been looking for that remix ever since. This version is good, but that version is INCREDIBLE.

  • @ciderjackboy >>> I have the "dance remix" of this song that your talking about on a CD & agree it's way better..... I'll try & put it here on youtube soon......it's on a CD compilation called NRG CD-1 purchased from Atomic records back in the day here in Houston....... the club scene & house parties here in Houston,TX. back in the late 80's/early 90's were insane..........J.

  • @ciderjackboy: I lived in Houston in the early 90s and remember there were a couple of short-lived good stations (that;s Houston for you) that played songs you wouldnt hear QZoo or 104. Can't remember this song but one played the La's every now and then.

  • One of the best songs of the century, a song that has 'everything'! cheers Nick.

  • Yup it's a rare video, many thx for posting. I love this album!!!

  • nick heyward.....ummmmmmmmmmm just love him and still do x

  • Love IT

  • I love this song. My first crush, my first heartbreak.

  • Is that Dexter Fletcher singing?

  • Of course, this is not on U.S. iTunes . . . RATS!!!

  • I've got the entire album if your interested.

  • I have that album too and it's great one!

  • TigerTiger83? If 83 was the year you were born, That would totally stump me as to why/how you would have a Nick Hayward album. But you definitely scored points with me :)

  • No, but if you can guess where I came up with my SN; Your really good. ;)

  • @TigerTiger83 a song from Duran Duran, off of the Seven and the Ragged Tiger album?

  • @ians1mom Yup. That's Right.

  • @TigerTiger83 Yay!!! I got it right!! I don't know much, but I do know my 80's music!!!

  • Quanto é bella questa canzone, grande Nick uno dei migliori interpreti pop anni 80!

  • wow! I love this song, thanks to posting!!!!!!

  • I just spent the last half hour looking for this video.

It is a shame that Nick Heyward doesn't get more recognition for being 1 of the best 80's Pop Stars.

  • Replying to something you posted 5 months ago about a Nick Heyward song...I've been looking for this song/video for years. Finally found it tonight. I don't know why he wasn't recognized either. He fuckin rocked, so much more than Debbie Gibson and whoever the hell else was considered mainstream in that day.

  • I totally agree. He's probably one of the most underrated song writers of the 80's next to Nik Kershaw.
