@1dragonflar1 nope the first Oh! My Goddess series was a 5 episode ova series. It came out way before this series, early 1990s I believe. You really must watch it if your a fan of this. Its much better imo, especially the ending.

For a Goddess to be afraid of her own angel, feel really sorry for Urd. As for Skuld's thoughts, an angel looking like Belldandy, dream on. A birth mom leaving her child (which, in this case is Urd), unforgivable. As for Urd's angel, really like her. Also, sucks to be Urd in a position like that. Getting her license suspended, for for a totally crappy reason that she had to take care of Belldandy while she was ill. Crazy ending & really sad to see her angel go, just when they met again.

@Cartoonoldies Actually, Skuld's voice actor in Japanese is very nice and doesn't sound like a teenage harpy. The grating voice also doesn't help her become as likeable, even a sympathetic character, as she is in the Japanese version/manga.

Skuld is difficult to cast because her age is of a "tween" so an actor can sound either really young or really shrill (as in Skuld's case). I was secretly hoping the voice of Rini from Sailor Moon S or even Hotaru's voice would have done wonders. Or even, if you have watched it, Best Student Council's Rino.

The person that did Hotaru's voice should have been cast as Skuld. But maybe it's just me, but why not get a tween to do the voice? Again, not assuming you have all the answers. :)
