Yup i know what "Pres" means. If you listen to the artist say for example Thomas Datt, his sound is completely different from that of Asedo. They are the same person but have different sounds. Pres. is a way of saying "its the same artist but with a different sound". Listen to regular thomas datt tunes and you will notice they are completely different from Asedo (in this case "Seven Years"). That help?
@EuphoriaAuroria An artist introducing someone else is a very rare occurrence. No one really does that. When someone puts "presents" it is most likely because he or she has to use an alias for that specific record label. When you sign to a label, for the most part, that name is exclusive and can only be used on that label. Since "Thomas Datt" is signed to Discover, he can't use that name elsewhere, so he had to come up with an alias for Anjunabeats, which is "Asedo".
@Lethys1 its because those artists are unsigned, which means that they have tracks which are signed to a specific label but the label doesnt exactly own the artist which means "every track they produce is released on that label". So if the artist is signed to the label, and wants to release a track on another label, they must come up with another alias. Arty is a good example of an unsigned artist =)
@tokegeSD But it's the same person, so why can't he release the track under his own name? Why wouldn't labels accept that? I've seen Juventa release tracks under Infrasonic, Enhanced, Harmonic Breeze without even making up a new name specific to a label.
Do anybody know what "pres." = presents means? Thomas Datt is presenting an upcoming producer?! Or the track exists already but he created a totaly new version of it?!
@TranceCommunity1984 I believe it means an well known artist e.g. Thomas Datt is introducing/promoting a new emerging one in this case Asedo and also had part contribution in the making of such track

@TranceCommunity1984 Thomas Datt's alias is Asedo... Meaning he is presenting "Asedo" to the trance scene.
