History also suggests that , lots of short sprinters have held world records till date. Height is being misjudged. Usain bolt's one stride (takes longer) and Tyson Gay's will be two ( in lesser time). Stride length is not a factor. Its the ratio. It taller sprinters had the advantage, it could never be called a 'competition' !
