This movie was really good better than what I expected it to be. The trailer makes it seem a little boring. But I give this movie a 4 out of 5. This was a veryyy sad and dramatic film. It will bring tears in your eyes right from the beginning! But my fav. comedic part of the film was when the father was having a meeting in his office. And he kept telling the people to sit down that whole scenario was hilarious! Acting:Superb. And I never thought that 'that' tied into this movie with the ending.

@pierremcneil i agee the trailer made the movie seems typical and insignificant . the movie is very depressing . the tone of the picture , the sound works , everything was made to be as depress as possible . but i just have to disagree with you on the "hilarious scene" . maybe it's because i've had one of those fight with my own dad , and so i feel exactly how he feels . frustrated , angry , betrayal .

anyway , robert pattinson did a really good job here. i dont watch twillight , but he's good.

@AdiDekter4U Nah, I don't mean the terrorist attack is cheap, I think USING it to make you feel emotional about losing a character is. It's not even something related to the plot (only the location,) so to me it's a desperate plea to draw tears from someone.

Seen this the other day ... fab movie and good to see Robert Pattinson acting in something other than Twilight, he was really brilliant in this. Great acting all round and such an ending! It made me cry :( it really makes you think about the world today and about how strong some people are..

Though viewers are led to believe that the movie is set in the present day, its actually set in 2001. In the final moments of the film, Robert Pattinsons character has a fight with his girlfriend, played by Emilie de Ravin. Robert seems to suit the 'bad boy rebel' role a lot better than the vampire role in my opinion. In this movie he look a bit like Joaquin Phoenix in Walk the Line.
