787-8 is the longest jumbo jet.. a380 is still has the full upper deck.. Its a matter of preference. Some people like em long while some people like em thick! Lol
@lauriersroses333 oops my bad.. i meant 747-8.. i was hoping boeing learned from the 787. the 787 dreamliner i believe is finally in operation 2 years late.. hope the 747-8 wont be that delayed or delayed at all.. the a380 is also a great aircraft.. i'm just a person who like variety in my skies..
@cjpatz yes i get it :) :) :) actualy im exited to see the 747-8, even it look like the old 747-4,but im exited to see it and fly with :) hopefuly soon, lufthansa ordred some of them, so i have the oportunity to take it some day
I believe the new A380's run Trent 1000 engines or the optional GE90-115B. The Boeing 777 with GE-115B engines still holds the worlds record for flight distance.
Singapore does have an excellent Aviation division for sure.
@65danner Because the plane is so huge it produces heat when it lands so to prevent it from burning up some delecate parts of the plane it gets a cool down
I think the a380 is a wonderful plane yet out curiosity how long to passengers have in an emergency landing do they to disembark passengers as this can hold 500 people surely it can take 20 mins wouldn't it in a emergency surly wouldn't it plus what's official times that crew have to get passengers off the a380 in a emergency landings. As I certainly wouldn't like the responsibly of the captain that's for sure
world best airlines with the world best palne :)
