Further, it's unfair because OUN-UPA were not war criminals. They were Ukrainian patriots. Ukrainians did not hold pogroms against Jews. Stalin killed Ukrainians simply for the fact that they resisted Soviet rule. All Ukrainians wanted was their own country. UPA killed only those who supported the Russians in disallowing Ukrainian independence. Fact is, these Jews were Soviet sympathizers and conspirators. Same with the Poles. There is no evidence of mass murders of Jews or Poles by Ukrainians for the purposes of ethnic cleansing. OUN-UPA was not anti-semitic of anti-Polish. Just anti-Bolshevik.

Further, it's unfair because OUN-UPA were not war criminals. They were Ukrainian patriots. Ukrainians did not hold pogroms against Jews. Again, some Jews have historically sided with those that denied Ukrainian independence. In fights for freedom, naturally some would die if they are fighting on the front lines of Poland, Russia or whoever it was.
