In addition, you have the tobacco lobby who have billions of dollars to give to politicans to push out their competition. The same thing with the oil lobby. Gasoline generates a lot of tax revenues to maintain the roads. This is why electric cars will never come into fruition. The government and big businesses both make money, and the little guy will pay through the nose.

The ingredient that is in anti-freeze is Propylene Glycol. The same chemical is also used in Ice Cream, Soft Drinks, skin creams and artificial sweeter. I'm not saying Propylene Glycol is necessarily good for you, but coincidentally, anti-freeze also contains water. Should we stop drinking water because water is used in anti-freeze (as well as atomic bombs)? Just because an ingredient is used in one thing, doesn't mean it is ubiquitously hazardous.

I have been using an ecig since May 2011. I was previously told by the doctor that I have signs of COPD from 20+ years smoking analogs. I also am prescibed an albuterol inhaler because I cannot breathe & I wheez. I have not used my inhaler since July! I feel great and I am breathing great. The FDA always make ecigs sound worse! They even countinuously call the vapor smoke. PG is the same thing used in nebulizers to produce vapor!

I think the FDA report has a really bad timing which makes me think that it is a just a propaganda to bring e-cigar down. There is just not enough time to conduct a research linking e-cigars with cancers. e-cigars have been on the market for only about 5-7 years.

They have many chemicals that are harmful, just as alcohol, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, and other "simple pleasures" that many of us consume contain as well. E-Cigs, however, are much safer because there is no carbon monoxide, ash, or tar. Those are the biggest problems with cigarettes.

People fear propylene glycol, because it is easily confused ethylene glycol. Ethylene glycol is incredibly toxic, where as propylene glycol is mostly harmless, unless consumed in large quantities.
FDA also said it was safe to add sodium fluoride to America's drinking supply. Once digested, sodium fluoride with attempt to bind to anything and everything in your body causing; tooth decay, bone decay, lower IQ, drowsiness, and problems with any organ in the body. The reason we know sodium fluoride does these horrible things is because the Nazi's used it to calm down the population in concentration camps and results were documented. FDA is full of shit; don't listen to them.

The ingredient that is in anti-freeze is Propylene Glycol. The same chemical is also used in Ice Cream, Soft Drinks, skin creams and artificial sweeter. I'm not saying Propylene Glycol is necessarily good for you, but coincidentally, anti-freeze also contains water. Should we stop drinking water because water is used in anti-freeze (as well as atomic bombs)? Just because an ingredient is used in one thing, doesn't mean it is ubiquitously hazardous.

I started with Green Smoke and not only did it come with 1 broken battery, the cartomizers stop giving a satisfying amount of vapor very fast. Get a set that you can refill yourself. Also, you can control the process much better with a button than with one that you have to suck to activate. Waiting for my eGo-C now.

Hi. They are trying to completely ban e-cigs in Finland now. 1. Selling e-juice containing nicotine has never been sold here. 2. International orders of e-juice has only been allowed for less than a year now, but they plan to stop that too in 2012.
I smoked for 10 years before I recently started to vape. But now they try to make me switch back to regular shitbacco by taking e-cigs away. Sorry, but I'd rather quit it altogether...No way I'm going back to shit.

I have been using an ecig since May 2011. I was previously told by the doctor that I have signs of COPD from 20+ years smoking analogs. I also am prescibed an albuterol inhaler because I cannot breathe & I wheez. I have not used my inhaler since July! I feel great and I am breathing great. The FDA always make ecigs sound worse! They even countinuously call the vapor smoke. PG is the same thing used in nebulizers to produce vapor!

I think the FDA report has a really bad timing which makes me think that it is a just a propaganda to bring e-cigar down. There is just not enough time to conduct a research linking e-cigars with cancers. e-cigars have been on the market for only about 5-7 years.
my point being is, comparing it to the real cigars (producing at least 4000 chemicals around 50 of which are known carcinogens), a heavy smoker should have at least smoked 15 years to develop any type of cancer. - RN, student doctor

They have many chemicals that are harmful, just as alcohol, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, and other "simple pleasures" that many of us consume contain as well. E-Cigs, however, are much safer because there is no carbon monoxide, ash, or tar. Those are the biggest problems with cigarettes.

Nicotine doesnt kill you. It raises blood pressure but will not kill unless you swallowed pure nicotine. The 4 million (exaggeration kind of) other chemicals in regular cigarettes are what kill you. It is addictive, but won't "kill" you by itself.

also, just to say, i used to de-ice aircarft with heated glycol etc, and nightly got soaked in it, and got mouthfulls of it, glycol is sugar based, and in de- icer ? does it scare ya still ? There is a supplier with vids on here, the arguement there is an e-cig is a nicotine delivery system as recognised, what is a real cig ? this is the fight here, I wanna see the large "baccy" companies bought in, what do you think their views are on e-cigs ? to say, we dont have a ban now. Tax sir, TAX, in the UK (where im at), a few years back, tobacco raised 6 billion revenue (tax alone to the gov.) of which 2 billion went to our NHS (hospital treatment of smokers) ... 4 billion left ? our hospitals aren't great we and u know that so no comments pls, I am a "vaper" and have been for 2 weeks, it stops me point black SMOKING, it doesnt harm me like the 3900 chems in fags, of which nearly 60 are cancerous ? ........

FDA also said it was safe to add sodium fluoride to America's drinking supply. FDA should be more worried about harmful substances some manufacturers put into e-liquid. I for one want to know what the hell in e-liq can melt plastic in some clearomizer cartridges. People not using clearomizers are probably vaping the same shit except the are unaware b/c they use metal cartridges.
