For the people complaining lady is a bitch and needs to show panda some love....believe me she gave these pandas more love then we ever could typing these coments and complaining. She ise a little rough because baby pandas need to have strenght and must not be weak if they plan on surviving the wild. Also if baby sees that she is leting him climb the fence, he would just try it again and again.

I saw a video on this on SCience channel and the center was [alas] destroyed by an earthquake, although most of the babies were rescued by heroic efforts of the staff at risk to themselves. they had 17 babies that year. You should have seen all 17 lined up on graduation from the nursery day.

Now the efforts are disbursed to other chinese zoos and the center is trying to be reestablished. But it was very sad to all to see the end of such a wonderful effort.
