lol thats kinda dangerous, i dont know if youre wearing protective glasses but if a laser beam like that comes in your eye you could get blind you know...
Although I dont live in the UK, you dont think its a bit erm...unfair to your fellow englishmen that they arent allowed to know this information according to you? XDDD
This laser pointer has a power setting/level of 125mW. That that power level it BURNS. Can pop balloons, light matches (and cigarrettes), melt rubber and plastic.
Two reasons. First the room is not fully lit. Second, the beam is 125mW in power which is incredibly bright as far as green laser pointers go and is easily visible in a lit environment.
Rayleigh scattering! Although it is true that the parameters dragonlasersfanman mentioned allow the scattering effect to add up to enough to make the beam visible to the naked eye.

firemajik 3 years ago
It would not melt the ball and I'd say the effect would be similar.

You can purchase them online at Dragonlasers website
dragonlasersfanman 4 years ago
How much does one of those things cost?
FreeRazorBlades4Emos 4 years ago
The one in this vid is a Viper 125mW which is $370. I recommend a Viper 95mW which only cost $200.
Almost as good for burning and a LOT cheaper.
dragonlasersfanman 4 years ago
holyshit can you actually burn things with that?
FreeRazorBlades4Emos 4 years ago
Easily, plastic, paper, pop balloons, light matches. See burning in some of my other videos!
dragonlasersfanman 4 years ago

Why is the Laser Beam visible ?

Scatter effect would be closer to the mark.
