  • That reporter is HOT!

  • WOW... free

sign me up if that place is still running... the video looks a little old so I don't know

Personally, I would rather shoot a Thompson submachine gun instead of an Uzi, but that's my opinion.

  • The Dhue Point!

    Tall drink of water...

  • I hope this place still exists as it does in this video (looks like an old video). Wouldn't mind living there.

  • It isn't even a valid question.

Switserland proof : they ISSUE a weapon to every household, and Educate the owners in gun use.

Result : The lowest rate of gun crime in the civilized world.

Australia proof : they banned private gun ownership after 25 years of Declining violent and gun crime.

Result : 2 months later, violent crime was UP across the board, and armed robbery was up more than 40%

US attempts at gun control mirror those statistics, but the media refuses to report on it.

  • hey you forgot about England's gun ban

  • cocked locked and ready to rock.

i need to take my m1 garand to the range.

  • she had fun u notice that

  • When was this aired? Ever since Carlson and Keyes left, MSNBC has been pretty blantantly left-leaning.

  • You know what sucks? I can't afford to live there, that sucks. I'm 52 & have been shooting firearms since I was 5. I'm a country & that's what you do in the country. Your daddy teach's you to use a firearm to hunt with & that lesson include's SAFETY. My cousin & I were hunting by ourselves at the age of 10. Can you imagine a ten year old havibg a gun today? They are out there but very few. I was growing up there were never any kids that took guns to school & certainly not ever killing a human.

  • Great report! Now I want to move to Nevada!

  • Great report! Now I want to move to Nevada!

  • mainstream media is propaganda at its finest. orwell would be proud. five people control what americans read in the papers and watch on their TVs. if they wanted smart, informed americans, it would not be a difficult task. they wanted obedient workers who would bow to the state and never ask questions. most of you have readily complied with their hopes !!

  • I love my full autos but they are very expensive to feed.

  • Yep the gun is expensive and it is expensive to fire. I will stick to the semi autos. lol

  • i love nevada

  • Well, heck, even if it were a "militia" I think that a trained citizen is a damn good thing. Take a look at the Swiss.... it works well for them. I'd love to live there!

  • Yeah I have a swiss K31 and they allow the soldiers to take there rifles home with them. My WW2 k31 came with a name in it, all i had to do was unscrew the butt plate and it there some1's name in there on a peice of paper

  • Other than Thompsons, i don't care for open bolt guns

  • have you ever fired a MP-40 or MP-38, way more ergonomic than a thompson.

  • It's free? I wish there was something like that in Missouri, maybe there is.

  • Militia of the citizens sounds pretty damn good to me. Would Black Water ever waltz into this neighborhood? I think not.

  • When can I move there? It will have no crime in that place! Bad guys would never go there you rob someone and it's a death sentence!

  • Thank God some people in the media aren't as stupid as Couric (called and SKS and AK-47!)

  • My best friend has an Uzi I'm not a fan of 9mm handguns but the Uzi is a blast to use. takes an ass long time to load but letting lose all those rounds at one time! woo! I would love to take some classes on handgun use. Not that I haven't had fairly good training as it is my friend that owns the Uzi, he's dad used to be a cop and hes taught me a lot about gun use and control.

  • My wife and I would love that!!!

  • Lol, I guess it sounds like a fun couples activity.

  • wow a pro gun set on msnbc, keith obermin must be pissed he does want any citizens with guns, i found him saying that on youtube

  • yea personally i think a lot of the bias on msnbc is a response to the free market and the fact that bill o'reilly gets the highest ratings.. obviously not ALL of it but they didn't try to make it so blatant in the 90s, they just kinda subtly brainwashed you and ommitted facts instead of the screaming into the mic thing that talk radio started & all the cable networks do now

  • I must say I am impressed, with Front sight, and MSNBC I didn't think they had it in them to do a bit that was this pro gun. Bravo!

  • Would you buy a car without knowing how to drive it???

  • Vote Ron Paul for President. Ron Paul will fight for all of our Constitutional rights. Google Ron Paul, register Republican, vote in Primary. Ron Paul cured my apathy...

  • she has a good stance at least

  • Me and my wife are saving up our money so we can be lifetime members of GUN OWNERS OF AMERICA, when you get the life membership for $500 you get a gift cert for two days training at front site. Hopefully we will be able to take a vegas vacation next year and do this.

  • Good god man, you've got classes for pretty much everything! Do the courses you offer usually change over time, or will they likely expand from what you have available now? (BTW, I'm recommending you guys to as many military enthusiasts as I can, this all reminds me of my trip to disneyland if you know what I mean)

  • We maintain our standard, most popular courses that tens of thousands of students attend each year and offer a variety of specialized courses as demand dictates.

  • Now this is something I'll remember to go to before I enlist to become an SF weapons sergeant. I would be willing to spend several thousands on some courses from them! I wonder if they offer any kind of armorer's qualification courses, the military loves those on a resume.

  • We do offer Armorer's Courses. Check them out:

    frontsight*com/Courses.asp

  • Sen. Coburn Standing Alone In Holding Up The Veterans Disarmament Act

-- Coburn needs your help right away!

go to Gun Owners of America right now to help.

  • so just because they want to build a resort/community where people can come to learn about firearms means they're a militia/paramilitary group bent on destroying the government? wow, GG MSNBC

Now I know where I'll be taking a vacation next year after I graduate :-)

  • And what's wrong with a militia ? Since when were militias banned or made politically incorrect ?

  • It's nice to see a reporter who's intelligent enough not to get caught up in the knee-jerk, guns are bad, commentary you so often see.

  • Being somehow immune to the allure of gaming, Vegas previously held little appeal. Too bad the report was presented with the impression that this was training for self-defense--but that's our biased Media. Having had the opportunity to fire legally owned class 3 weapons, I can assure you--it's all about FUN! In fact, the only activity I can think of that is more fun requires the enthusiastic participation of a consenting adult (a cute one)!

  • If you support the 2nd Amendment, check out -- FreeStateProject*org --

  • Go Front Sight! By the way, go to gunownersDOTorg and check out their membership area. If you pick up a life-membership with Gun Owners of America, you can get some free Front Sight training and whatnot.

  • Its a regular luxury community with a golf course but once you put a shooting range in its got to be a malitia camp? Stupid ass liberal reporter.

  • free !!

    i want to go!

  • did you see the way that guy helped her hold his gun?

  • Unfortunately, the free 1 day submachine course ended several years ago. Yes, ammo was free as was breakfast and lunch. Yes, it was fun.

almost of those Uzi's were purchased new, and therefore untransferable. IIRC, they said they cost about seven hundred each.

The facility is still not finished, they haven't even started the housing, yet. It will be several more years before they get there.

Google "Front Sight Certificate" to find a way to take a discounted course.

  • nice video and it's nice to see a mans vision come into reality. If I lived closer to NV I would be a member.

  • holy shit, free? Even the ammo? that guy is a badass, I'm retiring there

  • Front Sight's not cheap, for the resort or the school. It used to be if you bought a lifetime membership to GOA you get a free 2 day course. I took the two day handgun course there. Everything there was top-notch. This was a few years ago- they were still working on the place- I'd like to see it now.

  • wow, so this guy has dozens of full-auto uzis for this course? if those are all post-86 transferable, they are worth around $8 grand each. quite an investment.

  • I have now found the place that I am going to retire to, Thank GOD for Front Sight.

  • Front Sight is just simply awesome for offering this course for free!!! Great Americans...

  • There are 500,000 legally owned machineguns in civilian hands, and they were first restricted in 1934. ZERO of them, repeat ZERO, have ever been used in ANY CRIME WHATSOEVER. The only legally owned machinegun used in a crime was used by a police officer to murder a witness.

  • Almost. There was another murder committed with a legally registered machine gun, coincidentally in the same state where the police officer killed an informant, I think. Two doctors arguing IIRC. So, if you can't risk 2 in 500,000 stay out of OHIO. lol Had a .pdf floating around in my favorites but that's gone missing...

  • Can't wait to check it out. Looks like fun!
