The big reason Why choosing a PC over a mac is the prize there is nothing else.. A mac with the same specs as my pc would cost over 1000 $ where i paid about 250$ That is not right.. Its just crazy!

I have my pc dual booting mac os x and w7 and it works just great.. but honestly i use the mac os only for surfing and stuff cause the w7 have more compability..

@ALIKALVERT it's very complicated and touchy, only works on specific hardware and extremely annoying to setup. Linux or windows are much easier to install.

I can't post links here, but try installing it with Iboot or EmpireEFI, it worked for me.

How about "iBoot + MultiBeast: Install Mac OS X on any Intel-based PC" on google. You are going to be disappointed. After you spend hours trying to install it, you will say - why did I waste my time on this, and uninstall it.

@Ang3lsCurse i doubt it. 1st ill bet my 2011 mbp is faster. 2nd i doubt ur pc is as fast as a 16k 2011 16core mac pro. and 3rd the only thing pc can do that mac cant is play games. which can be fixed with a bootcamp dual boot to windows. and just for some persepective, i can run crysis at full settings at 90fps with 3dsmax (or maya) running in the background (on the pc boot). fuckpc. im so glad i made the switch last month. best decision ever. and i cant wait to buildmyhackintosh later this year

@Ang3lsCurse you said "my pc is alot faster than any mac." there is a 16 core mac pro. not macbook pro. mac pro. its a tower. and the 16 core mac pro runs close to 16000 from the apple site. so i doubt ur pc is that fast. i can get 60fps with all other settings at full for crysis, and i can get 90 or more when i bring sampling down. gpu is ati radeon hd 6750m. id give u exact specs for crysis but i dont feel like booting windows right now. maybe ill do it later if you remind me.

@thesock339 the faster bus speed really only affects u when ur using osx. i have cracked win7 ult dual booted, and it takes twice as long as osx to boot 1. cuz windows is heavy as fuck and 2. because mac runs on efi so it has to emulate the bios for windows to boot. ill admit windows runs faster on mac than it does on most other pcs, but buying a mac just to wipe out osx and use windows is stupid. boot times are gonna annoy u. even with an ssd windows boots about as fast as osx on hdd

I boot my computer with the DVD in disc tray, and starts the Darwin OSX86 screen, I have tried with all flags: -x, -v, -s, etc... and appears a few messages, with the -x command there appears a LOT OF MESSAGES, but anyways... my PC reboots... what I do?
