This is the first time I've heard this song, although I've heard pretty much everything else off The Blackening. Very well done, very dynamic and in my opinion one of the strongest songs on a good-quality metal album. When MH bring their seventh album out, I reckon a lot of people will get it and I certainly will. I'm not a massive fan of the band, but some of their stuff is worth listening to.

300 is based on a graphical novel by MILLER (the genius that wrote masterpieces like SIN CITY, DARK KNIGHT RETURNS [Batman ]and BORN AGAIN [Daredevil])...

All the story from the graphic novel was written to capture the feeling about how Greeks viewed Persians and Spartans...

Typical of this point of view is that Spartans are pictured naked like in the greek paintings while real oplites went to war heavily armoured...

So 300 is a mythological movie based in history not history itself...
